Yeah, but I think it would be easier if they were looking for a specific type of suggestion. Then all of those suggestions would be in one place.
With how many suggestions there would be & how most wouldn't see if a previous thread about their suggestion was mentioned then a lot of threads would be made over flowing that section.
Now if you meant that people would just post their ideas in like a thread pertaining to new block ideas or new item ideas yes I could see that helping. But as long as the OP of this thread does plan on organizing these post ideas into his first post then there's no point to doing that. Now if he doesn't keep up or doesn't want to to that then we should have the Mod's open a sticky forum for Minecraft 360 suggestions.

Or at the very least sticky this one.
What I meant was a sticky thread with subthreads like the "Important Things" threads

But that would still cause to many threads to be made we need only one with a well organized first post don't need to make things crazy for the guys who run this site. Plus who would run/take care of all these sub threads and main thread?
Anyways another item I thought of is sort of like a revival item. Only it would serve to refill your health bar FULLY once and after that the item is gone. Could be a craft-able item or of sorts. Would really help with long expeditions underground & at least getting a second chance to not lose all the stuff you mined.
I mean do modders know the game inside and out or
is there something they can't figure out how to implement?
Someone figured out how to make a real-time updating version of himself using a webcam. Anything that can be added will be available for pc in a matter of days.
This is a long thread and it may have been mentioned before. If so then count this as a vote to implement it from me. While not necessarily unique to the xbox a unique version for the xbox would have to be created. A dedicated server you can run on the PC. Section 8 had this ability. The pitfall is you would need a dedicated gamertag for the server. But then if you and some friends want to do that you all pitch in together to get that tag.
While I was zoning out during health class today, I figured out that if 4J didn't make the world so frigging deep, it would be a win-win for everyone. If you think about it, diamonds would be easier to extract from the ground, and they would be able to make worlds larger and add more stuff. Another suggestion is that there should be a "vault" that generates once per world. There should be a solar eclipse where you can only see the outer parts of the sun, and it is only four minutes long. During the four minutes, there should be an eclipse dragon that flies around a given area of the world. If you kill the dragon, which is hostile, it will drop a vault portal that is similar to the way the enderdragon drops an end portal. Inside the vault, it will be a small dimension with no mobs, and countless amounts of every priceless resource in the world.
I'm thinking we should have a mineshaft. What I mean is next to an NPC village (With villagers in it) There is a mineshaft with villager miners. Also the grappling hook is amazing. Also, 4J should add planes to minecraft, if they can make mobs, rain, minecarts, etc move, they can make a plane.

Obviously they would add a car before they would even think of adding a plane.
So my buddies and I have been playing on a new world since 1.8.2 and in it we've found enough villages for us each to take over and expand one, however, there is one village that seems very hard to pin down. It was discovered after searching a ravine for a stronghold or mineshaft and had been planned to become a replacement village for one that was found to only have a well, library, and small shack in it. After it's initial discovery my friend left it to do gather his things to move into it and the place seemed to have disappeared. We've actually sent out search parties to where he thought he found it without any luck.
To remedy this I'd like to suggest, as others before have, that we be able to place and remove small symbols as markers on the maps to indicate where special things are located. I know that there's functionality that allows you to share explored areas of the map by picking up someone else's map so i'd imagine markers would work the same way. The person who found the place and marked it would toss their map down allowing someone else to look at it and copy the explored areas and markers onto their map.
Like i mentioned before it'd also be important to be able to remove markers as well, as i'm sure not everyone is going to be excited about every little thing everyone is marking.
as far as what symbols to use they could be just as simple as a red square, a light blue circle (so it doesn't blend in with any bodies of water), a yellow Star, green triangle, just basic shapes and colors but enough variety so that you could say, All villages are marked as red squares, dungeons are yellow stars, mines are blue circles, stuff like that. Then as your friends help explore and expand your world they'd be able to build a more useful map.
In order to mark a location i figure you'd just travel to it and pull out your map then use the left trigger to open a box asking if you'd like to place a marker on your map, and then which marker you'd like to use. if a marker already exists you'd get the option to either remove it or add another marker to it, in case the village is directly above a mineshaft or something. In the case that more than one marker exists in the same location the symbols would rotate between them as you watch the map.
In order to reduce possible lag caused by marking the maps you could have the markers only visible when the map is held all the way up. as soon as the person using the map looks up from it they'd stop being displayed.
It might also be a good idea to add in a way to toggle off the markers while you're looking at the map in case you're wanting to see what the map looks like without them.
Could be to many pages to actually go through & I almost didn't want to go through all of these. With, I'm guessing, what short time 4J has to look at this stuff we should make it simple for them to read through.
Not to beat a dead horse.... but there already is a mob specific suggestions thread........ Just sayin'.

What do you guys think?
That is a great idea! I have thought of the same thing many times..... Oh and you could be able to change the colors of your shapes!
I do not know if this has been mentioned before, but it would be extremely cool if we could set the depth of the starting level of the blocks in superflat from 4 like it is now all the way to the cloud level if we choose before generating the seed. That would allow for easier building of underground worlds, and the higher levels would allow for underground structure generation of mines and strongholds as well
Was thinking you could add in Dragons that you could tame or fight and they'd drop like dragons teeth. (could be made into equipment stronger then Diamond.) If you tamed them they could kill things faster then wolfs, and you could ride them around, or you could fly on them around to get about faster in the survival mode. (wouldn't be as big as the enderdragon.) I saw some where something about the egg that spawns after you beat the enderdragon about hatching it! could be one of the places you could get it. maybe even be able to make something to incubate it and hatch. Also thought about making it so you could craft it, maybe out of obsidian?

I just want a rare mob, something so rare it takes on mythical status but that actually is "in-game".
Spawn rate so low, that you would think it doesn't exist.... but when you do see it, you'd probably be better off running.
This, I was thinking Cockatrice sense they could maybe do something like they'd make you stop in your tracks if you look them in the face. (similar to how you look at a enderman agros him) could drop some cool stuff randomly for your effort on killing it, or feathers. thought just now you would be frozen like 10 seconds and then the effect wares off for 5 seconds giving you time to turn and run. You could maybe take a potion so if you ran into it you would be immune to its stare, maybe even a new dimension to travel into? This is just some thoughts I've had so please reply thoughts or ideas to add to it. I wouldn't ever expect to see it in game though. OwO
Yeah I agree great Idea! Had the thought myself but not like that. I wouldn't have been able to think of it that detailed, Just have to say one more time Great Idea!
I'm still sticking with my idea of apple trees. Here are the steps:
Find an apple
Craft the apple into about 4 apple seeds
Plant the seeds in a crop
The seeds grow into a small apple tree sapling
Plant the sapling into a designated area
Grow an apple tree farm (Or maybe an orchid they would call it)
Now this is the way they would work:
Punching the leaves on the tree will give you a 75% chance of dropping an apple and a 40% chance of dropping multiple apples with one leaf block.
Some leaves may become apple tree saplings.
The apple seeds, saplings, and leaves should have a sweet looking texture.
The default wood for the tree is Oak.
I really like this idea! It would be fun to be able to plant fruit orchards this way. Maybe they could have multiple types of fruit trees as well and add in small colored shapes with the leaf textures to distinguish the different types of trees. It could be real fun to have orange, lemon, cherry, pear, lime, and peach trees. maybe even a type of vine that grows grapes.
Heck i'd like to be able to grow more crops and have more food recipes, anyway. Since our next update makes creating a working farming a possibility, why not go full bore and add in strawberry seeds, lettuce, corn, tomatoes, peas, and several other growable crops.
You could add in a few cool new recipes to use the new crops. here's a few to consider:
Hamburger - Bread + Lettuce + Tomato + Cooked Beef
(for a cheeseburger add a bucket of milk or make cheese craftable from milk somehow.)
Fish Sandwich - Bread + Lettuce + Cooked Fish
(unless you guys like yours with tomato, that is! If cheese is a possibility add that in there instead of tomato)
Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich - Bread + Peanut + Grape, Strawberry, Peach, Cherry or Apple
(Unless you want to make peanut butter and jelly separate craftables , Jelly - Fruit + Sugar, PB Peanut + ??? water or something)
Beef Stew - Raw Beef + Wheat + Potato + Corn + Peas + Carrot + Bucket of Milk or Water
(Stays in the bucket until eaten and returns an empty bucket similar to Mushroom Stew's Bowl)
Apple Pie - Apple + Wheat + Egg+ Sugar + Wooden Bowl

Love this idea .... I have always loved the farming/cooking aspect of minecraft.
It would also be good to have really rare seeds that are only obtainable through a certain way (killing the enderdragon when it gets released for example).

I wouldn't mind seeing actual Stone Stairs.

I'm not quite all caught up with the update news ... could someone shed some more light on this please?
