According to the Minecraft wiki, we are not ever getting mushroom biomes or mooshrooms, because they are not mentioned in 1.2.3 and after that, Xbox will take it's own path and that's what this is for. That's why we need to post suggestions. I came up with the best idea. Our edition should take a step more in depth into technology, and we should step away from magic and enchanting and potions and that stuff.
That's what has been announced/confirmed or tweeted by 4J but that doesn't mean we won't get it. Official version history of PC 1.0.0 Minecraft was given Mushroom biome & a swampier swamp. The update we're going to be getting next is going to be covering from 1.0.0 all the way up to 1.2.3. So there is still a chance we will get it.

If it's possible someone did suggest it but the ability to make it so certain biomes won't spawn in a newly created seed would be wonderful.

Yes, that is true, I think we could get it, considering the Minecraft wiki is for the most part bullsh**, meaning they get almost everything wrong, so it is possible. They were wrong about the 1.8 update release date.
i think 4J should put tekkit into the XBLA Edition because i am a big fan of minecraft ive been playing since the Second? update and my pc has recently broken down and at tht point i was playing tekkit And i think they should add it into the XBLA edition purely coz minecraft gets boring after a while even tho the coding would be IMMENSE! and prob kill the xbox i think they shuld add it in like on the main screen it goes Survival then if u change it goes Creative - Tekkit- SUrvival Tekkit-Creative sorta trhing
I am not really sure about that, considering that Xbox 360's have 512 MB of RAM. That is already more than enough ram to play Minecraft. I have also heard of people who have modded their Xboxes to play Minecraft PC, and that was with mods and texture packs, AND infinite worlds. This explains that game consoles use their RAM more efficiently than computers, by not running background programs. So the conclusion of this post is that this may be a maybe, and they may be able to add both tekkit and infinite worlds. This is actually probable, so keep your fingers crossed, they may be able to do it.
They should add iron oxide in the form of powder, and gold nuggets, and they should make an extraction chamber that if you put any ore in it, for example, if you put coal ore into it, it should return both a piece of coal and a block of stone. If you put iron ore into it, it should return a stone block and an iron oxide powder, which can then be smelted into an iron ingot. And the electricity I mentioned in another post, the extraction chamber should have to have electricity going to it. If you put redstone ore or lapis ore which both give varying amounts, the chamber would extract the maximum amount obtainable from these ores, and return the stone block.
Some of you know that I have only posted on the Xbox 360 edition, I have both the PC edition and Xbox 360 edition. To be honest though, I have noticed you can probably build a structure on PC edition and built the exact same structure on Xbox 360 edition in a fraction of the time it took to build it on PC. That is why I tend to stick to Xbox 360 edition, 4J also did a better job making the game fun for a single person, rather than 100 player servers.
Also, is it just me, or am I the one that contributed most to the ideas? Keep it going guys, Padware is reading this. If you have an idea, please share it, me and porkchopz would like to hear it, and Padware would probably also like to hear it.
I had looked through most of the pages off this thread and compiled most of them into categories. Some people's idea's may not be listed here if they're not I missed them or forgot to type them down on Notepad. If the OP is still looking over the thread I would see if he would consider putting a list similar to this on his original post so it would be easier for Padware to keep track of it/or to see anything new was suggested.
New Weapons: Pike; Crossbow; Daggers; Scythe; War Axe; Throwing Knives

Personally, though the area in the 360 version is very large, it is still limited and you don't always get certain biomes. That being said, my suggestion for a 360 exclusive item would be a Biome Block. You would need ridiculous materials to craft (like 8 blocks of diamond and something of the biome you wanted) and when you broke the block it would give you a confirmation message to make sure you want to use it there and if you said yes, it would save and exit the game. When you loaded it back up all the blocks within a large radius (say 500 block or more) would now have recreated the area with that biome in it.
The reason it would do it when you broke the block, is so you could use it as decoration too, and it would need to exit the game because trying to delete a large chuck of the map and repopulate it with something else will probably cause a great number of errors if you're still in the game(though admittedly it would be cooler to just get a bunch of these blocks and change the areas rapidly again and again )

Instead of tekkit they should add items from tekkit like pipes and redstone that can be put on the wall which would be awesome.pipes and wall redstone and wall slabs would change the game
Lockers and double lockers which open from the front, not on top, and can have blocks on top of them. Barbed wire fencing that can't be climbed and hurts any player touching it. There should be a marker feature where you can place one marker, another marker somewhere else, and completely fill in the area between the two markers, or completely clear it. Oh, and an option to make the host the only one able to use them, because a greifer can fill an area with TNT and blow it all up, or put markers around a castle and clear it. I know that the game saves settings like autosave and online game on your profile, I think it would be more convenient if it was saved per world. Infinite worlds would not be necessary if they added an option for players to portal between worlds.
I personally think the creeper needs to get some love, let's see some sub-species of creepers... I know another person outlined a few (and i quoted him to refresh some memories).
I had a very similar idea today before I got to your post in the thread. Here's what I had come up with.
Immolation Creeper: Dark red in color, with small flame particles being emitted as it moves (similar to the enderman particle effect). when it explodes, it does not damage any blocks, but in the blast radius, it sets everything ablaze, dealing a full lava tick of damage, followed by 5 seconds of burning damage. If the creeper is charged, it leaves behind a source block of lava. The creeper would only spawn in the desert biome or beside underground lava lakes, but is then free to wander (like any good creeper)
Caustic Creeper: A deep murky green color (in contrast to their normal light green color). The creeper does the same amount of damage as a regular creeper, except half of the damage is aimed at your tools/equipment on your hotbar, dealing 3% damage (6% if charged) to them. Spawns in the Swamp biome (and/or jungle if/when it gets introduced).
Tundra Creeper: An almost pure white creeper. When it explodes, it has a 50% chance of trapping the player in a block of ice for 5 seconds, dealing 1/2 normal suffocation/drawing damage, if it's charged, it deals full suffocation/drowning damage. Spawns in all snow biomes.
Psycadelic Creeper: A purple and green creeper with toadstools at random angles. When it explodes, it releases a noxious gas cloud in a 5x5x5 cube that poisons the player, and slows their movement while in the cloud, if charged, the poison effect lasts 2x as long, but is only 2/3 as effective. Spawns in the Mushroom Biome (when we get it).
Nether Creeper: Textured to look like Netherrack. This creeper is by far the most dangerous, instead of charging the player, it sits and waits, giving only a 1.5 second hiss warning before blowing up, it has the power of a charged normal creeper, and spawns in groups of 2-5. As the name suggests, it spawns in the Nether, and is the only creeper to not chase the player, making finding/killing them an extreme challenge.
Maybe feed the Psycadelic creeper a red mushroom to tame him, and after being tames, he would no longer disappear when exploding, just reduce in size for 5 seconds until he resumes his normal size and being able to "explode" again (effectively acting as a cool down timer and prevent tamed creepers from mass spamming their explosion during a PVP scenario.)
Perhaps more tameable mobs for each biome like a penguin for snowy biomes, horse for the plains, mountain bear for mountains, snake in the desert and a dolphin for the ocean biomes
No, this is Minecraft. We can't have the standard.

Okay, here's an idea for a new dimension: The Ghost World. Every time you die, as opposed to just losing your crap and cursing, you instead move into the Ghost World, with all your stuff. It uses the same basic information as the Overworld, but everything is shifted a few blocks along the x- an z-coordinate planes. Liquids don't support you, and you fall straight through. You can build, but whatever you build in the Ghost World is invisible in the Overworld, and everything in the Overworld is locked from use in the Ghost World. You can see the ghosts of old adventurers and monsters, and killing these things get you ectoplasm. Using ectoplasm by mixing with a bucket of water, you get a special no-flow liquid which acts as a portal to this other world when placed in a 2x2 square. As opposed to Nether Portals, making one doesn't spawn a paired portal: you are simply transported to that coordinate on the map. There are also naturally spawned portals back to the Overworld, and any Ghost Portal that leads back there has a chance to leak ghosts, called Revenants, back into the living world. Revenants are similar to the mob the resemble, but have increased stats across the board and glowing red eyes.
I believe this has some potential in making secret invisible pathways due to the shifting of blocks, and make for some cool views. A door split in have because that layer felt like moving over a block? Cool.

Your idea sounds interesting but in all honesty would most likely severely lag the game especially if you could build on the overworld but in a invisible style. As well, as far as I know, it's not possible to move the x;y axis anywhere for the overworld to make a new realm right on top of it. Plus not having a bucket with you when you die seems like it would trap you in that dimension.
If anything it would have to be another new realm like a Nightmare realm or something like a very scary; bloody; threatening realm can't really think of a means of travel to it but yeah. I see this idea of yours has something to do about not losing your items just try to only take essentials with you or play on a slightly lower difficulty. Not losing our stuff when we die on survival would be like holding our hands especially since the whole idea of survival is to "survive" so just be careful.
Like I said another realm does sound nice but instead of the one you described I'll put my hopes on the creation of a nightmare realm. To be honest I'll be happy with The End.

Well, think about it like this: Every time you enter this realm, either by dying or going through a portal, it uses the world data of he Overworld, but is its own realm. So, when you make a building there, it simply saves like in the Nether, but gives the appearance of a 'ghost building' because it can't be sen on the Overworld. In addition, when a player first gets sent there, numerous portals spring up across the surface, allowing free travel out of the realm, but requires you to get lucky and die again if you leave without grabbing ectoplasm. I see what you are saying about it trying to 'hold your hand' when it comes to losing your stuff, but think of it like this: It can't happen if you die by fire (body turning to ash) or lava (melting). It has a very small chance of happening otherwise, think roughly 5%, and if you would rather NOT die repeatedly to farm yourself this realm, just trade with a village priest for ectoplasm.
There should be a "cold" bar while you are in the taiga or tundra biomes that decreases at a steady, slow rate, but it goes four times as fast while you are in the frigid water. Barrels that blow up, set fire, shock, or corrode mobs and the ground when mined. Also weather orbs that behave like ender eyes but they change the weather depending on the type you threw, but if you throw a sunny orb while it's sunny, it will just drop.
