I would like to see more weather, like fog, heavy rain (different rain texture and source blocks randomly spawn at build limit), sandstorms in the desert (Unless you're within like ten blocks of a two-block-high or higher wall, you take damage over time.).
Season changes for all biomes except a few, like Tundra, Taiga, and Desert. Oh, and Mushroom Islands too. Oceans as well.
*coughgrapplinghookcough*
Having an eight-bit-izer in the game that lets you pick a song off your hard drive and put it on music disk
Use gunpowder in throwable explosives.
Add in an official Sky Dimension
More stuff in the Nether, block- and building-wise
More mobs, both passive and aggressive.I mean, how cool would it be to fight a naga in the desert?
Harvesting or making cobwebs in survival.
Maybe mixing gold armor with redstone to make redstone armor? Like, it's gold but has red lines running along it. It is much more durable and shocks enemies that hit it, but it shocks you everytime you're in contact with rain or water.
Make it so that water can run through fences and iron bars. That way, we could make more aesthetically pleasing sewers and wood bridges.
More golems.
Make drinks that are a cross between potion and food- Depending on what you use for juice, it heals varying and inverse amounts of health and hunger.
More powerful explosive?
Wireless redstone transmitters- When the input block is powered, it activates all output blocks within 10 block radius. Maybe make levers and buttons that work like this, too.
Would I get yelled at for suggesting that voices go with the skin? We still have the bone snap for falls, but male skins give us male voices, female female voices, and other just uses the noises we have now.
A skin maker, kind of like Skincraft, but without the piexl-for-pixel editing. We can keep one custom skin, but we get more custom skin slots and pieces when we buy skin packs. Encourages the purchase of both, and makes 4J AND Microsoft money/happy, and it lets people have their own skin.
I would like to have an option to set certain blocks break-able. Not every block would have an option but the blocks would be set into groups.
EXAMPLE:
Back>Host Options>Restricitons>Ores,leaves,levers/buttons/pressureplates,chests,wool, and everything else.
This would be really helpful for adventure and pvp maps. Also I would like to see rentable servers and downloadable maps. There could be a rating system and the most popular maps could be placed on a featured page for that month.
Another thing I would like to see is to have the similar items stack feature from 1.3 so I can make my item sorters and buying systems.
Another thing I would like to see is to have the creative flatwords more than 3 blocks deep. Make them about 25 blocks deep or so.
One more thing I would like to see is a spawn block. Where ever you place the block a player will spawn there. You can place up to eight blocks for each player. The first block you place will be the host's spawn and the next spawn would be the 2nd player to join the map.
KEYS!!!!! (sry for all caps but im so excited to say it!!!)
Keys, Keys, and more keys!!
stone keys.
iron keys!
gold keys!!
diamond keys!!!
ANDD doors that need keys! (In the form of locks)
my mouth is watering for a gold key!
edit:
so you take a regular iron door for instance and attach a lock to it, so it becomes a locked iron door (so it requires an iron key to open it.)
door+lock=locked door
Key+door=unlocked door
key is destroyed on use. (so if you had 3 doors you would need to find 3 keys.)
idea=epic upgrade to minecraft
I think some plug-ins would be nice. Like for certain servers, there could be options to protect your chests and structures to prevent griefing. Or like an economy system that gives people money for certain actions and then lets them spend it in stores (good for RPG servers).
Seen a lot of people say "scuba gear" but a scuba suit seems a little complicated for a game as simple as minecraft. How about get some glass and make it into a glass bowl to put on your head that makes you breath a lot longer, but if you take any physical damge it breaks. so fire, hunger, poison, and drowning will not break it but falling, or getting attacked could. Very simple and would fit the game well.
Then we would have a button turning him on and off. Signs of him will consist of items missing in your chests, random trees on fire, strange structures, etc. That would be pretty sick.
I know I have already posted two other times on this topic, but I just have so many ideas!
- rainforest biome, but bananas! You can take the bananas and eat them by themselves, but they leave peels, or you can use them plus bread to make banana bread, which gives two more hearts than that of normal bread.
- volcanoes that erupt, making lava rocks and above ground obsidian, as in real life, if lava drys fast enough and has a low amount of minerals, it quickly turns to obsidian.
- dangers in looking directly at the sun, like little pixely squares that dot the vision.
- small mobs, neutral and hostile. ( mice, snakes? )

Pirate Ship(crafting recipe:2 dispensers, 6 boats, 1 redstone), Natural disaster and agressive and passivn type mob like a polar bear, duel wield, shields, and fire breathing ender dragon
I don't know for sure if this has been mentioned before, but in creative mode, where the game defies its own physics, it seems odd to me that the water still has a physical effect on the player. So, could you make the water act the same as air in creative mode, please? When building under water in creative mode it would be cool if there was no effect on the player character by water currents. Thank you for your consideration
Ok here's my not so succinct list. I don't mean to sound demanding and unsatisfied with the game. I'm sure many of these things will never be done, but this is just my opinion on what would make the game better for me and hopefully many others.
1. More items, particularly decorative items for buildings and outside areas. I would love to have furniture for my houses. Vases for my flowers.
2. I would love to see the bookshelves have books that you could take down and read. The writings would be about adventures that you and other people in your world had. If they got blown up by a creeper there would be a paragraph about it maybe some map coordinates. The first time a person mined gold or diamonds could also be put down. This could be done dynamically so you're books are always updating.
3. I would love to see a redstone engine and wheel blocks. I would love to make an uber truck out of diamond and gold. Or maybe a bulldozer that could flatten land when you drove it. Vehicles are awesome.
4. In keeping with the spirit of item 3 I would love to have pavement block type where lines for lanes would be put in as you put the pavement down.
5. More food recipes. I would love to have a kitchen to make all my friends meals. Let's have all sorts of fruits and vegetables and recipes for different dishes. Also, more variety of flowers for my flower garden would be great.
6. I would love to have the option to download other people's maps so I could explore them on my own. I think it would be really fun.
7. A store where you could sell and buy things. Where other's who visit your world could go to buy things as well. The store's inventory would be directly related to what was sold to it. Sell them a whole bunch of wheat and breads and maybe cakes would start showing up in the store to buy. Let try to get a small economy going.
What I would like to see in Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is the unimplemented features that were never added into the PC edition. I would like to see some crying obsidian, lanterns, fish, gears, leather-chain armor, pigmen, rubies, different colored coral and sea sponges that can be crafted into sponge, furniture, spike blocks would be helpful, whales and purple arrows, locked chests that can only be opened by the player that placed it, and whales.
I would like if there were vending machines where if a player used left trigger, than they will have a list of things to buy, and there should be player built machines and natural ones that give you food and seeds for crops and there should be coins of different values. They should add zinc ore and calcium. There should be huge neon signs. There should be electricity that can be transferred by copper wire and is different from powering because it should be generate able in generators, solar panels, wind turbines, hydroelectricity which can come from flowing water. If they find out how to make infinite worlds work, than they should add a city that generates between once and three times per world, and there should be a dragon that lives in the middle to rule the city and is neutral. Digital alarm clocks and grandfather clocks, and make clocks hang able on the walls, and make them tell overworld time while in the nether. Make compasses in the nether point to the nearest portal to make it easier. There should be an antidote for cave spider venom that is craft able with venom sacs that are dropped upon the death of a cave spider. There should be a redstone pulsar that does the same job as one of those 4 repeater clocks, with adjustable speed.
I personally think the creeper needs to get some love, let's see some sub-species of creepers... I know another person outlined a few (and i quoted him to refresh some memories).
Fire Creeper: Same height and width as original creeper, but red. When it detonates, it explodes but also sets thing in a 4 block redius from the blast ablaze.
Mini-Creeper: 1 block tall x 0.5 block width. Only half the power of a regular creeper, but twice as fast.
Kamikaze Creeper: Basically a flying creeper that moves as slow as a Ghast until it sees you. Then it flies as fast as the Ender Dragon.
I had a very similar idea today before I got to your post in the thread. Here's what I had come up with.
Immolation Creeper: Dark red in color, with small flame particles being emitted as it moves (similar to the enderman particle effect). when it explodes, it does not damage any blocks, but in the blast radius, it sets everything ablaze, dealing a full lava tick of damage, followed by 5 seconds of burning damage. If the creeper is charged, it leaves behind a source block of lava. The creeper would only spawn in the desert biome or beside underground lava lakes, but is then free to wander (like any good creeper)
Caustic Creeper: A deep murky green color (in contrast to their normal light green color). The creeper does the same amount of damage as a regular creeper, except half of the damage is aimed at your tools/equipment on your hotbar, dealing 3% damage (6% if charged) to them. Spawns in the Swamp biome (and/or jungle if/when it gets introduced).
Tundra Creeper: An almost pure white creeper. When it explodes, it has a 50% chance of trapping the player in a block of ice for 5 seconds, dealing 1/2 normal suffocation/drawing damage, if it's charged, it deals full suffocation/drowning damage. Spawns in all snow biomes.
Psycadelic Creeper: A purple and green creeper with toadstools at random angles. When it explodes, it releases a noxious gas cloud in a 5x5x5 cube that poisons the player, and slows their movement while in the cloud, if charged, the poison effect lasts 2x as long, but is only 2/3 as effective. Spawns in the Mushroom Biome (when we get it).
Nether Creeper: Textured to look like Netherrack. This creeper is by far the most dangerous, instead of charging the player, it sits and waits, giving only a 1.5 second hiss warning before blowing up, it has the power of a charged normal creeper, and spawns in groups of 2-5. As the name suggests, it spawns in the Nether, and is the only creeper to not chase the player, making finding/killing them an extreme challenge.
I don't mean to sound demanding and unsatisfied with the game. I'm sure many of these things will never be done, but this is just my opinion on what would make the game better for me and hopefully many others.

I've discovered that many PC users feel this way. I've showed a couple of my PC friends this topic and while some seemed intrigued, most found it kind of selfish of Xbox users. I tried to explain it to them, I guess some are just close-minded.
I would like to see some of the things like "block 36" and other blocks that are not obtainable, like darker stone regardless of light level, the part of the piston that comes out when powered, a permanently burning furnace, but acts like a regular furnace, glowing redstone ore, inactive redstone torches, and the other ones. You should be able to have up to 20 markers on people's maps, and left trigger should turn the map around and the name and description of every marker should be on there.
According to the Minecraft wiki, we are not ever getting mushroom biomes or mooshrooms, because they are not mentioned in 1.2.3 and after that, Xbox will take it's own path and that's what this is for. That's why we need to post suggestions. I came up with the best idea. Our edition should take a step more in depth into technology, and we should step away from magic and enchanting and potions and that stuff.
Season changes for all biomes except a few, like Tundra, Taiga, and Desert. Oh, and Mushroom Islands too. Oceans as well.

Stove top furnace ( can open up alot of new options like fried eggs bacon...and frying pan )
Fresh water and Salt water
Mini games
Massive mobs ( like Mammoths )
Zombies can be dismembered
Animal poo for fertilizer ( yes really )
Natural disasters
Cross bow
Dirt animations for steve ( and a shower )
Healing spells and attack spells
Fireworks ( stick , gunpowder , string , and four diferent color dye )
Yawning animations ( for idle players )
Rain slightly floods open rooms
Metel armor atracts Lighting
Gloves/ Gauntlets
Harness Lightning Strikes
Boss mobs
Elevators / Escalators
Trap doors that are presure sensitive ( step on it and Fall )
A wrist watch that tells time
And I will come up with more soon....

Epsolon
but I would LOVE to have an option to turn off mob types. Example: Don't like Creepers? Uncheck their box and no more worries
[ ] Creeper
[x] Skeleton Archer
[x] Spider
like that.^^
Colored glass is another big one i'll echo.
Keys and Doors with locks is another I will echo.
woot! I second these things!
Thirded as well as locked chests.
