I would like to see a fully fledged out hardcore mode with lots of customization. In addition to permanent death
there could be options enabled/disabled such as:
- zombie apocalypse: zombies are faster, spawn 10 times more frequently, and don't burn up in the sun
- ores are more rare
- thirst bar
- height at which falls become lethal is much lower
- explosions from both tnt/creepers as well as lava = insta-death
- more possibilities
It would also be nice to have control of which mobs can spawn and their rate like in the Mo creatures mod.
The ultimate goal of this mode would be to see how many days you can survive, though regular gameplay could still be accomplished such as building, etc.

I'd like a hopper.
If anyone played with the mod "better than wolves", there is one in there. They don't have to get so detailed with the filters but if they could do the same, it would be awesome for everyone that loves to set up auto-farms. The hopper was something you could set up on top of a chest that would auto-store. The one in"btw" would let you put filters in it that would sort things running past them by size. With the new plants and food, this would be a great feature.
Even with every enemy finally added eventually, many of my friends and I feel like there is a lack of things to fight, could there ever be more enemies added to bring more fun to the game? Large enemies are fun, my friends and I think more would be good, imagine mining and falling into a underground cave that happens to be the home of a large boss, it would be fun and scarey, a lot of random encounters like that would make the game exciting just to mine because you wouldn't know when it could happen, is this possible for an update? I love this game but eventually you've seen it all, to make replayability better could an update add stuff like shields, dual weilding, two handed weapons, more armor types like wool armor, wood armor, stone armor, obsidian armor, maybe even be able to craft a spell book with rare materials and enchanting the book after you craft it, then the book would only let you shoot a few projectile magic attacks like fireball and stuff before it breaks and you need to make a new one, is this possible? I wish we could repair our gear instead of finding 24 ore again to make a new set, we should be able to use a few ore or materials to fix nearly broken things. I want to make my own skin, not buy a premade one that I don't like, add a skin editor to the xbox version please. I love the feeling of finding good ores, could they add more kinds of rare finds like ruby, saphire, emerald, onyx, this would open up more options for crafting, is this possible for an update? I hope we are eventually able to adjust a bar in options that lowers fps or view distance to allow bigger worlds. If worlds must stay the same size, the edge of the map should be the start of new sections of the world that are the same size, like a quick load and then we are in new locations we havn't explored. If you like these ideas click the button to get it seen.
I want Head lamps. You would need string, glow stone, glass pane, and iron. It let you see up to 8 blocks away and can be worn like a helmet.
This is how it would be crafted.
im not sure if this was said (theres 15 freaking pages) but smaller blocks would be awesome. Like in tekkit you can make handsaws and use those in a crafting menu to make different shapes and sizes of any block. it would allow for more texture in future creations.

One idea I read about on here was scuba stuff, even if its just an air tank to stay underwater longer. My own idea is when placing lava on blocks like sand and ores it would smelt them. Even if it just worked for glass( because as I think of it, you could smelt everything with one bucket of lava, kinda lame so just glass would be cool because you can't pick the glass back up.

IMO, that has the potential to be overpowered... since mobs can't spawn on glass, one bucket of lava could potentially turn huge swaths of beaches into mob-free zones with minimal resources and effort.
It would be neat if lightning striking sand turned it into glass though. It could be warped glass that you could break and harevest glass shards from, and a full square of glass shards would make a glass pane. Or maybe you could use the shards for something else, but I don't have ideas for that.
Ocean structures like an abandoned ship of sorts, the front half of the ship buried in the land and a chest with goodies are inside. But there's a puzzle of some sort to get to the chest like in the Jungle Temples? Maybe I'm going too far...
Would Spawn under the ocean in the sea/ocean biome would have same behavior as a jelly+slime but would suck you down into the water Ive already made a thread about it check it out c:

I love this idea! there's a similar thread like this suggestion over in the suggestion boards that goes on to add new boats and mobs too. I love that suggestion too especially since we have maps on the Xbox that are entirely ocean biomes! They really need to be fleshed out with structures, mobs, and resources!
Ok, hugo121796 just mentioned this in the exclusive mobs thread under an entry for monkeys, but i thought I'd add it here and tie it into that suggestion about improving ocean biomes! Palm trees! In his idea they'd drop Bananas that you'd use to tame monkeys! I think Palm trees would be the perfect tree to spawn in Ocean biomes on those small islands that tend to pop up here and there. That And i think Palm trees look awesome and would really like to see them added to the game in some form.
To make this suggestion my own and to allow the tree to stand by itself, even without the monkeys, I'd like to add that rather than drop a normal sapling like a tree does, they should drop a coconut that can be split open and used for food in survival or kept whole and planted to grow a new tree and start a banana/coconut farm!
I like this idea (with a little tweaking).
Crafting recipes for mossy stone blocks.
Or if you wanted to make it harder to get and somewhat more realistic you could do this:
There's just so much to do with rope it's not even funny. I've got to make a post on it here sometime.

more activities and things to do.
This is how it would be crafted.

Here's two links to threads that expand upon this idea that you may also like a lot.
New Boats and Mobs - http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1259447-updated-yet-again-mythological-sea-creatures-new-boats/
Underwater Structures and more Mobs! - http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1470841-lets-talk-about-how-we-can-improve-ocean-biomes/page__hl__%20sunken%20%20ship
I would happily support adding a lot of the ideas from these threads! Especially the sunken ships and pretty much all the mobs!
more mobs like bats and bird
and i like backpack idea
