Also those things are what many people want give the people what they want if you don't like it then don't use those things it's that simple
Really? What many people want? Look around, the only people suggesting guns are the ones who play CoD, how do guns even fit in with minecraft? Atvs? Since when has there been cars in minecraft? Flying vehicles? Come on. You're going to be flying an airplane on minecraft? Be serious.

This coming from the person with MW3 in their signature
Well there is already this stuff called GUN POWDER in the game unless I am imagining it when I use it to make tnt
People want guns so they have a better way of killing mobs from a distance it's not like we are asking for a minigun just a simple rifle or something
I suggested cannons because people already make tnt cannons and I know people have pirate battles in minecraft and i'm sure they'd like actual cannons
Some simple advice if you don't like it you don't have to use it variety makes everyone happy

How ignorant. My signature hasnt updated since two months. The last time I played MW3 was in June. Does it even matter? Im not stupid enough to think a gun would look good in minecraft. People? You're talking like the majority of minecraft players want guns. If so many "People" want it, why isnt it in the game? Like I said, the only ones who want them are the ones who play CoD and beleive every game needs a gun in it. Gunpowder? Ha. Implying gunpowder is ONLY used for guns?
Well being used for guns was its first purpose in real life unless crude explosives came first
I'm not saying every single person wants guns but I bet a good amount do not sure but there are probably plenty of pc mods with guns so why deny those who want them believe it or not not everyone has their own gaming comp so telling them to buy the pc version and get gun mods is a mute point (and yet again I point out if they add something to the game you don't like just don't use it it is that simple)
Back to the topic I suggest being able to put raw fish in buckets for storage like 10 per bucket with or without water
I thought I'd pitched my idea about recolored Lapis Lazuli blocks to you guys already as i got the idea after reading this thread, but it turns out i didn't. I keep a link to the full discussion at the bottom of my signature under the link to that thread about Colored Glass, which also would be beyond epic to have.
To summarize, I'd like to see simple recolors of the Lapis Lazuli block so that we could make some really nice marbled floors and walls (though apparently calling the blocks Marble is a no-no, but Chalk is just fine. . . Whatever, it ended the argument -.-).
This first idea was that the new blocks would be made exactly like Lapis Lazuli. You'd gather 9 of a particular gemstone to make a block of the new color, but everyone said they'd rather have 1 block that you dye to get the new color. I agreed and even borrowed a PC version account from a friend and made a texture demo to show what my idea would look like
! Personally, since i play the 360 I'd really rather see it implemented here rather than on the PC first and then have to wait for the 360 to catch up to it!
Sorry, if i'm not supposed to plug my own thread, but the only reason that post is in those forums anyway was because i was unclear as to where to drop 360 suggestions, and it could work for either platform so i made it over there. HERE is where it really should've been made! (I just didn't want to drop that big a post into someone else's thread without warning or permission and accidentally highjack their discussion.) I figure giving a link to it while adding some basic info on it to this list of suggestions was the best work around. Forgive me /correct me if i'm wrong here. /EndOfRant
A wagon that you can drag your chests in so that you don't have a million items everywhere when you break the chests. Something like the chest cart but on land. Also maps for your cave travels so you don't get lost like I do all the time.

That could be fun, especially if they implemented it with a horse and allowed you to combine them. That would make having separate communities on an RP server way more interesting. You could have a new RP job: Travelling Merchant!

Yea! Didn't think of that, awesome idea! You can do so much with a traveling merchant. Maybe 4J can implement some hidden chests for your world, just like they have in the tutorial world and the merchants can have treasure maps, for a price that is. It could be an option before you start.
4dirt and 4gravel and water bucket into 8clay balls and empty bucket
Also doesn't make sense, there are no rocks in clay. I guess cooking dirt to "extract minerals" and adding water to make clay could be more likely. It's not logical at all, but neither is throwing sand in a furnace and perfect, crystal clear, glass popping out.
If you just tried to press it together, the coal would simply turn to dust. It would be cool if they made a way to pressurize and heat coal to eventually become diamond though. I know this process takes a very long time in reality, but it could be altered for Minecraft. It would still take a long time though, maybe a few months in MC days. At least that way you would never run out of diamonds.
meat into roast blocks, which behave like cakes... of meat.
This is a pretty good idea as well. But, I'm thinking more along the lines of meatloaf. Maybe they could implement a way to make noodles and cheese. You could make a casserole, or perhaps lasagna. It could be used multiple times, like a cake!

You know that's something else I'd like to see more of in Minecraft, Food!
Maybe a way to combine cooked beef, milk, and bread for a cheeseburger!.
Eggs and pork could be an omelette.
Cocoa beans and a bucket of water combine to become Hot Cocoa.
Cocoa beans and milk become Chocolate Milk.
perhaps we could combine wheat with water to make noodles, then combine that with milk for Noodles and Cheese. Ok, the wheat bit's kind of a stretch, but maybe we could have a way to break it down into flour or something. not sure how to handle that. Either way it's working towards that casserole.
Maybe instead of using milk there could be a way to turn milk into cheese. Not sure if we'd do that through a crafting table or if we'd just cook it. it could be cool to turn milk into butter as well for other recipes!
Butter + Wheat + Raw chicken = Fried Chicken! Who's tempted now, eh?

I particularly like the omelette idea. Eggs definitely need to be useful for something more than chicken farming and cake. Especially since a lot of people tend to have a lot of eggs laying around and might not want to go through the effort of milking cows or farming wheat and sugar cane.
As for things like fried chicken that would require flour, perhaps you can use wheat and seeds with a crafting bench to "grind" them into flour. Though I guess, in Minecraft logic, flour isn't necessary. When making bread you skip the stages of making flour and dough and baking completely. They could've at least made it like (wheat --> dough + furnace --> bread) to be at least slightly realistic. But oh well, Minecraft's disregard of realism doesn't really bother me.

I figure we all take a side of whimsy with our breakfasts in Minecraft! lol
Probably best if you just don't talk to me bro, especially if it's to criticize the realism in a game where you can carry lava in a bucket or use wool to make a painting. It just looks like you are following me around now.
Besides which, clay particles can be extracted from dirt and gravel. There may not be gravel in clay, but the reverse is the reverse. Hence 8 dirt/gravel blocks and water make 8 clay balls (or 2 clay blocks).
srry bro
I was only making suggestions to your ideas. Look after that post and you'll see DrifterWolf and I improving each other's ideas as well. You don't see either of us getting all butt hurt over it. Also, I've only talked to you three times, and this is the first time I started the conversation. I've never said anything dickish to you, yet you attack my posts for no apparent reason. Last time, I replied to someone else then put "OP: blah blah blah, generic on-topic comment" just so it wasn't considered off topic, I didn't even know it was your thread until you attacked me for what I said to someone else! Then you go selectively through the rules, trying to find a loophole to get one of my threads removed. Now, who's the aggressor here?
Also, gravel is rocks... just rocks. It may be possible to extract from it whatever minerals clay is composed of, I don't know, I'm not a geologist. But why even add it into the equation when you already have dirt, which would surely be easier to extract said minerals from. That's just my opinion, maybe you could put dirt in a furnace to make minerals, then craft 8 of them around a water bucket to make a clay block. It still doesn't make sense, but this is Minecraft, where placing ingots in particular formations makes them magically form into armor. I realize MC isn't very logical, and that's one of the joys of it. But, I think it would be cool one of the exclusives was a more challenging difficulty. It would be like hard mode as far as damage and whatnot, but recipes could be more realistic, blocks would take a bit longer to break, etc. For instance, to make bread it would be (wheat + seeds --> flour + water --> dough + furnace --> bread) which is still not realistic, but the closest we can get with our current resources. I'm not sure how yeast could be collected anyway.
I see lots of support for coklored glass, how about colored light to go along with it? Colored glass, plus torch/glowstone behind it, gives you tinted lighting. Or, craft glowstone with dye for tinted lighting.
Moved is not removed, and I never went selectively though any rules or loopholes as you claim.
Wow...
After you tried to get my thread moved for being in the wrong section, (which it wasn't) you were then outraged that my build was actually created in the 360 version. So you then claimed it should be removed because I used glitches and exploits. (rofl, who doesn't?) I was going to post your... "debate"... but, all your comments were deleted for obvious reasons.
Idea: Don't quote my posts and I won't reply to you. Then you won't have to worry about me talking to you.
You do have one point. After I replied to your suggestions and started talking to the other guy I realized how unrealistic Minecraft is. A lot of the mechanics in the game are far more ridiculous than your suggestion. I mean, just look at redstone, it's more like some weird magical energy source than electricity. I guess the only suggestion that was truly bad would be the ink --> tar thing. I've never felt squid ink, but I've seen it in the water and it looks very thin, more likely to be slick than sticky.
If I had to make a request, it would be that the female skins have female damage noises. I can't help but laugh at how weird it sounds when my "Girl in black dress" (The Perfect Dark skin) sounds like a fat guy when she falls or gets hit.

I agree, all you'd have to do is heighten the pitch a bit. I had an idea for better double doors.
In these diagrams, three X's are doors, three O's are one fence. This is the way it currently works if you put a fence in the midle of two doors:
XXXOOOXXX
If the doors in this configuration would 'bleed' into the fence's hitbox, you'd have bigger doors. Like this,
XXXXOXXXX
It would look a lot more like a true double door, and it would solve a problem I've been having with double doors on buildings with an odd number of blocks on their sides. I don't know about you guys, but I find placing lighting on an odd numbered structure than an even number. I shouldn't have to choose between double doors and ease of building. It'd also be nice if you could put a button on it, so you could open both doors...or at least to make a doorbell sound? I dunno, what do you guys think?

A sitting animation on stairs. It'd be like sleeping, but the time doesn't change, screen doesn't change color.
Which brings me to my next idea. An idle option. If you're away from your controller for an amount of time you set, your character______. that's all I got.
Let's explore the idea of locking doors/chests. Would it be based around an item? Like a key, crafted from a gold ingot? What if a griefer threw it into lava? How would you open it? And if it was based on character data, how would you keep someone else from locking your chests with their data?

Retired StaffWheat that has been bailed is called straw, just pointing that out. And usually only a poor wheat crop is used for straw.
And this... well, it just doesn't work like that.
