That is looking really, really good. I cannot wait to see this thing when it is done, the work you must be putting into this is insurmountable. Keep us updated!
just wanted to elaborate. i was rushed earlier.. this is an absolutely amazing build man, love the arches. i will definetly be stealing a few ideas. lol. cant help it you got my gears turning for some projects now. your archetecture is really well thought out, did you put in a lot of planning or did you just build it and see where it went? i would really like to tour it some time.
That is just amazing, and that just doesn't do it justice enough. I do so enjoy seeing your builds.

Thank you for the comment. I don't do a lot of planning with my builds, I build as I go most of the time. Usually, I get a lot of my ideas as I'm building.
Feel free to use my ideas and if you want a tour just send me a message on Xbox. GT - HairyJackass
I half expected a crappy square smoothstone wall around a shoddy house but this is truly amazing.
Very nice job you could imagine my surprise when I looked at the pictures.
Buhbuh buh babababa bah waaaahhhh!
Keep posting images I will use this as inspiration when creative mode is released.
... If you dont mind
What blocks have you used for the majority of the main facade?
Would you mind telling how you created the stained glass?
Actually that is easy to figure out from the pics... it is obviously regular glass in front of colored wool. Just look at the pics angled up as you can see two walls at least, the one that the glass is on and one that is apparently behind it. So in a way it is an illusion to some degree...:D Very well done all in all...
As for the main facade looks like a combination of stone slabs, smooth stone, cobble.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

The outer castle wall and towers is mostly a combination of stone slabs and cobblestone. Also, some parts of the castle wall has wood and fences for accent.
The royal palace is a combination of stone slabs, smooth stone, iron blocks and glass.
I used lime wool, gold, diamond and lapiz azuli blocks for the design of the stained glass. The stained glass design is actually not next to the glass, it's one block away. When you put glass in front of colored blocks, the colors is not discernible. I also put glowstone outlining the stained glass design so it will be lit up at night.
