I don't like it due to the fact there is no theme, it's too random is another way of saying it.
Who needs pixel art so close to a building?
I'm not a fan of bedrock or expensive ores and you also need to remember how it feels if you switch to survival.
Good job. Must've taken a fair while. As some have said though, I too am not a fan of pixel art, and a bit too 'cramped'.
I also think you should give some recognition to the person who built it with you, as detailed in picture 9. . . . 'Sicsonic', I believe.
Taking all the credit is not a nice thing to do, especially if he/she is unawares. (May want to change the title of the thread.)
Title is a little cocky but this is awesome. Well done to you and your helper.
Using portals as the scoreboard above the basketball court is ingenious.
Some of these responses are too funny. Too random, no theme? The theme is that it is a city. What do you want 400 McDonald buildings side by side???? Last time I drove through a city, the buildings and scenery is pretty random.

You saw lava spires? Random cacti surrounding a bank? (EDIT: Just noticed it's an arena, not a bank.) 30-meter tall pixel art? A 50-meter tall, extremely skinny tree? A castle? And a hot air balloon?
I think somebody has a drug problem...
OP: It looks alright, but it's not that special. Nothing that really gives off any sort of "Wow!" factor. And anything that could've been remotely impressive is really drug down by the rest of the city. The hot air balloon and amusement park are particularly nasty eyesores.
I don't understand why you posted this twice? Once here, titled "My Word, it's better than yours" and then again in the Creations section trying to put down somebody elses work with the title "Paragon City put to shame"? (Paragon city is an amazing city somebody built)
Your world, Is NOT better thank most... its a pile of random crap somebody through together. Nothing matches up,. you built anything just because you thought it was possible.

That was my thinking, never said it was a high end city... Actual cities in my mind are not overall themed. Everything is different looking.
It is cramped, this is my first time playing Minecraft when it came out on xbox.
Sicsonic did help with digging before creative and helped with the roads.
I don't really see anything that sets your city/world apart from others. I could look up a dozen different worlds, put them all side by side, and there would probably be little to no difference at all.
My biggest criticism, EVERYONE DOES PIXEL ART. On top of that, no one ever does original art. Everyone just copies Mario, Yoshi, Nyan Cat, etc, etc. Why not make an original pixel art? That would definitely make your world stand out to me.
The only thing that draws my attention is what I'm assuming is a dam/spillway in the first two pictures.
Edit: I guess I saw it wrong. Anyways, I agree with some of the others, that the buildings are just randomness, but if that's your style then so be it. Just not my type.
And if you put a cocky title up, you should expect to get some cocky responses.
I don't think the titles to either of your threads are going to win you any friends. It will just make people look closer to see if there are any mistakes and they will be more willing to hit you with criticism. You can't make statments like that untill you have seen MOST worlds and there are quite a few that are not on here (mine included).
Yes it is an Xbox world and there will only be pictures once it is finished. Building outside suprflat worlds takes a lot of time and a lot of thought has to go into building placement.
Your world is better than mine, you just haven't built it yet. Nice...
Let me know what you guys think, let me know what I am missing!
