i've been working on this badboy for a while and although i can't say it's finished YET, it is almost there. i got the basic outside design of the house from a youtube video but i went my own way with it. i think mine is more detailed.
if you have any suggestions, that would be awesome. i'm kindof stuck with the interior design of it. it's too plain and not nice enough, in my opinion.
Wow, I like it. I think the use of pistons for the table was clever. I used fence posts and wooden slabs which just looks unproportional. Overall I like the design and the detailing. I would say you've done a very good job thus far!
Very nice set up! It seems you took your time placing things where they would best belong, not just slapping something together. The paintings compliment the chimney, and the chimney compliments the wood, the color schemes all coordinate well with everything else. A little tight in space, but thats not something serious, you can only fit so much without under or over-spacing it.
The only thing I would recommend is adding a chimney above the house. Maybe even add a burning netherrack a block below the top so you cant see fire, but it lights up. I think the roof is too dark, personally, but maybe thats because the angle of your shot had little contrast with the background. You can always add a balcony, giving an appropriate reason to light up the top.

Once again, great job!
what do you mean, regarding the chimney? i have a little chimney stalk thing going up the side of my house. i'm not really feeling the way the chimney looks on the inside but unfortunately, no brick slabs or stairs so i'll have to update that when the game updates.
i see what you mean about the roof. i may hide some torches up there and see how it looks... and there is a balcony silly!
for the interior maybe just make a lil pattern in the carpet/floor or add a tv, fish tank laptop and table/office space. its a great lil house tho ^-^
a fish tank sounds excellent but my house is small on the inside. i wish it was much bigger, i could make it look a lot better than it does but it's a tight squeeze. (sounds a little wrong)
but if you could give me some pointers on how to make a fish tank that would actually fit in my house, that would be snazzy.
This house puts my crappy creations to shame. Also, I saw on another thread that you said you have a big basement in your house but there's no screenshots that I can see of it. Are you not proud of the basement or something?
^^^^^^^Not really. I've personally yelled at her. Gotta give props when deserved!!!! Edit-- I posted too late without quoting. You know what I mean though
Whoops, sorry, my attention was drawn from that last post and I might've missed a few points...let me clarify:
You could add a larger chimney, one at least large enough to fit a block of space inside. You can then add the burning nether inside. It will make light around the edges of the roof without looking too conspicuous, so long as you put the netherrack low-enough to be hidden. As for the balcony, I mean a taller one that can house light, but not potrude too far out or look too "torchy". Whatever the case may be, I wouldn't corrupt the already awesome roof with unsightly torches or open flames.
EDIT: I also like the idea of collapsable tables...I actually might have to steal that mwahaha

that's in my other house. i didn't put a basement on this one. i HATE carving out basements.

yeah, i'll mess with the chimney some more when the update rolls around (i think we get more brick stuff) so it will look much better. i don't really want to mess with it right now because i have it made perfectly so nothing catches on fire lol.

Truly, I'm flattered, but I already have a... oh, wait... you meant her...

yes, the whole snuggly cabin feel is what i'm going for.
and thanks everyone! i'm really glad you like it.

Not every person on this forum is a sexually frustrated teen who will do anything for female attention. Some of us actually appreciate good work.
Though, i DO hate snow biomes.
