I believe they are referring to the post about only the hand being able to break blocks in creative mode... so you don't accidentally break blocks while trying to kill mobs.
Yeah...caught that while updating my texture world. Blew the thing sky high and broke what is now an unobtainable self-powered Redstone Lamp.
Not a fun time.
The other thing I've noticed is the ludicrous lag in my world now. A standard offline game should not lag (experienced in multiple worlds).
I've had a bit of lag in my map too, but only in certain areas, mostly on buildings with item frames. Buildings without more than 3 have no lag at all.
slimes typically spawn on the surface of a swamp at night during a full moon. also look out for more endermen on a new moon.
beds in door jams make u sleep on the floor. lol
That must be in the newest update of pc, because what I remember of 1.6.4, was spawning during the daylight hours, and was not based on moon phase. It just has a low spawn chance at the moment, or I am doing something wrong. Right now it seems like they spawn like how they do in spawn chunk, and not as part of other mobs.
Moon phases have not done anything to mobs, at least not at the current version. If they did, it must have been later So I don't understand the point of that reply. Well thanks for the tip, as I just checked wiki, and didn't know so the only thing left that I know of is appended below, which was introduced at a later version unfortunately.
Appended: Also the slimes have trouble with water, as the can't seem to jump out once they are in. That bit I know was in 1.6.4, but was fixed in a later version to allow slimes at least to jump out of water when needed. So this is just something I would mention, just in case.
Powered rails take a while to break (using a diamond efficiency IV pick axe), I believe they used to break as quickly as normal rails, the Wiki says they should as well. Normal rails break the same as they did prior to this update. The speed of breaking a powered rail seems similar to that of breaking a block, such as stone, with an unenchanted pick axe.
RE: Horses De-spawning: I've boxed horses in with roof and floor and a double think, double high fence wall (no gate), attached the horse to a lead line on the inside of the box and named the horse with a name tag, wandered away and back again. The horse still despawned.
It doesn't appear that you can tame horses while in creative mode... they don't try to throw you, but you still can't tame them no matter how long you try to ride them.
Weighted pressure plates do not send redstone signal to any horizontally adjacent blocks with the exception of redstone dust. Example:
Repeaters and comparators do not activate if horizontally adjacent. Cannot use an adjacent block with a redstone torch or a repeater on the other side either.
I haven't tested, but I suspect there may be similar problems with powered rails, tnt, droppers, and dispensers if placed horizontally adjacent.
Suspect that name tags are not working on keeping other MOBs from de-spawning and in the game if they are not working on horses... but haven't tested yet.
Sheep should have a way to re-grow wool over time if MOB Griefing is turned on (ie. unable to alter grass blocks)
Been playing for a few hours last night and here's what I found that has not been reported (as far as I could tell):
Harvesting crops with water, and killing slimes will sometimes causes the dropped item (slime ball or crop related item) to dance at about the 1 block height. Able to retrieve fine, but odd dancing behavior occurs frequently.
Arrows will knock Item Frames off a wall dropping the frame and content block to the groud. Sometimes the frame exhibits the dancing behavior mentioned above.
Friend joined my game, and when he died he was booted out of my game. Had to then reboot Xbox360 in order to get back in. Did not return at bed spawn point and lost everything.
Axe/Shovel/Pick Axe behavior is different now. When using an enchanted pick axe of efficiency/unbreaking at highest levels on non-pick axe items (such as dirt, sand, gravel) the break rate is that of a normal tool or possibly slower. Same applies when using an enchanted axe on non-wood items. Ignores all enhancements. Before, using a pickaxe or axe on a shovel-required item (sand, dirt, etc.) would go through those items faster than butter. Is this a deliberate change in game play behavior or is this a bug?
When playing with another visible chop noticed. Varies during play, but as soon as the other person leaves the chop is gone and everything is smooth again.
Pistons won't work anywhere on my world (Xbox One). I broke a piece of Redstone which activated two rows of pistons on top of each other in the Nether. Now my pistons won't work at all even just a single one in the overworld.
I found a fair number of bugs from the time I played so far and I hope they'll get noticed (ill say the ones that aren't too obvious) along with a question that I have.
double piston extenders seem to end up making all other pistons in that world not function once its been used
the game now every now and then gets laggy or lag spikes and would happen the moment a map is loaded or some time after
iv noticed some redstone problems (half being from the redstone comparator)
I know untamed horses don't despawn right now but for some reason in my main map they despawn even in fenced areas
redstone blocks set off the pistons beside another piston that is facing up and a redstone block is on top
a redstone comparator doesn't give any extra charge for an ingredient in brewing stands with 3 bottles in it
breaking an item frame with a map on it crashes the game
cats that are near nether portals (or so I think they have to be near them) stand up and wont sit or even follow
wither skulls sometimes are glitched in place when creating the wither
some enchantments aren't working to their full extent (efficiency specifically)
stats aren't applied to all potions (potions of healing, potions of poison, potion of harming, potion of regeneration) and potion of weakness is saying "when applied: -0 attack damage" and not the proper stat
no extra stats applied when enchantments are added to tools, weapons and armor
the option for mobs to not spawn naturally seems to only work for monsters unless that's what was intended
and my question is why wasn't book and quill added? it was added in the 1.3.1 update for pc and consoles are updated to be 1.6.4. I know others are wondering that too and was hoping it could be answered for us especially since I was really looking forward to using it for my maps
p.s. thank you for all the hard work you have put into minecraft and keep up the amazing work and have a good holiday

I believe they have stated many times that the book and quill will NOT be added to the console version of the game.
Worst game I have ever played after this update. All redstone is unusable, now my whole redstone world is corrupt. There are hundreds of bugs that make the game no fun and practically unplayable.
Not a fun time.

Stay fluffy~

placing then destroying a seed will create 3 seeds this happens with both seeds
also placing a seed next to another seed destroys the seeds and creates more seeds
from what I gathered it's 2 seeds extra + 1 original
this also applies for full grown seeds placing one next to it will destroy full grown seed
not complaing bout the duplication but it's annoying can't place them
~ gamer tag : ZyprotronLEZ add if you wish to see my creative worlds

I'd like to echo this sentiment.

Hehe I'm a stalker xD
