Is there a recent update for minecraft on xbox 360? My son swears he sees other people people playing an updated game on xbox 360. I've searched online and all I've found is a snapshot update but do not know if or how to download it to xbox 360. Any help or info anyone could give me regarding this would be greatly appreciated..

No, the last update for the Xbox 360 Edition was Title Update 13. It came out in September 2013.
Snapshots are only on the PC. They're previews of upcoming PC updates. The next 360 update is Title Update 14 and no one knows when it will be coming out.
TU is speculated to most likely be released late February or early march.
