when placing upside down stairs at 90 degree angle (like this L) then placing upside down half slabs on the inside of them, a shadow is cast on the stairs. descriptive as dirt, sry
I want 2 achievements, and i dont want to see the message "This world is in creative, are you sure to play it in survival?" (the message dont say that exactly, but is the nearest because i have the game in spanish)
Ohhh. Gotcha. Well, I don't think there is any way possible :/

That is one thing I mentioned earlier in this thread. with both slabs and stairs. although it mainly happens with slabs, it takes a bit more in a row done that way with stairs. Of course I haven't done outside yet in natural lighting, and assuming it would be the same. In torch light at least it will do this to slabs all the time for me around the edges. up against the wall.
So I can confirm this happening, and know what you are talking about. I believe it is a lighting glitch with the upside down stuff that has been around even with regular stairs for a while now. Although regular stairs you would have to place a few before it would happen.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Redstone lamps are very buggy when activated and deactivated via Redstone Dust on top of them.
I attempted to make a kitchen and living room with on/off lights.
Note: Neither of these rooms contain any other light source (though the light from the other room is coming in) and the four lamps in each room all came on with the same tick.
The lamps are off in my kitchen....
And not only are my lamps off in the living room, but they are also completely covered by inverted Jungle Wood Slabs....
(Yes, that is a Zombie Spawner, and yes, I am using 6-sided Pistons as a table).
Ill consider it a bug. Bloody asked this already. Why is 2 new types of sandstone in the game but not in the creative menu? Im guessing its a bug or intentional?

Pretty sure it's intentional for desert temples, and sandstone villages.
Not sure if this is a bug or was intentional. I tamed a wolf and upon returning to my house the wolf cannot enter unless I break my door down. I moved past the door back and forth trying to get it to follow me going past the door but thats all it does is walk past the door and does not enter. Its like with the door being open is still too small of a space for it to enter.
This might explain why my Ocelot vanished. I had it sitting in a room next to a bed while i went out to go look for some sheep, there was a thunderstorm, lots of lighting, and i headed off to a plains area where sheep had been spawning. When i came back to my house the thunderstorm was over and my Ocelot was gone, nowhere to be found. I was thinking that maybe the thunderstorm scared the Ocelot off being i forgot to close my front door when i left, but after this post, its probably the same thing you experienced. Thats a bummer as i wanted to keep a Ocelot in my bedroom but if they keep vanishing, whats the point?
My gal just told me this morning the same thing happened to her wolfs she had 4 of them on her world set to sit and they just poofed... it wouldnt be bad if they turly did vanish, but since the game is still saying they exist it is impossable for me to get any more do to breeding limit... =(
Since the update my players die when they join and can't find anything that they had after they died, it's happened to multiple people on m Rpg server and it makes some people quit when it happens :/
I appreciate the prompt reply However, my apologies, as maybe this classifies as a Suggestion then, not so much a Bug Report. The consensus seems to be that the Minecart speed "fix" is not a FIX at all. I'm really not concerned with whether the X360's speed matches PC. This "improvement" is awful, and I'm not the only one who thinks so.
I have no problem with the slower speed if it fixes other issues. The main reason explained earlier was the slower speed fixes other game issues. The minecart track still does what it is supposed to. If anything, I would like to see less powered rails needed to go distances. Or empty minecarts (with a chest if need be) be able to travel as far a a full minecart.
In my TU9 world (originally the tutorial world), previously mined blocks are continually reappearing near the edge of the world (so far, within 5 blocks of the edge). This include reappearing water, stone, gold ore, iron ore, redstone ore, and coal ore. (ETA: I now also have dirt within 7 blocks of the world edge that has reappeared after I had mined it, replaced it with stone and saved and exited and re-entered more than once with it not being there; that is, it is not possible that I inadvertently exited without saving the changes I made.)
It doesn't happen with every single exit and save and re-enter, but it does happen quite frequently. That is, I mine away the blocks and save and exit the game... and they come back when I re-load the world. It has happened both when I have saved while in the vicinity of these blocks and when I have moved away a distance and then saved and exited.
Of course, the only one that really bothers me is the water, which continually wipes out my rail line on that edge. Prior to the update, I thought I had the water issue beat by creating a "drain" for it behind the wall. However, when the update came out, the stone blocks I had removed for the drain reappeared along with the water (yet again wiping out my rail line).
NB: My file save has also just recently gone from 19 MB to 20 MB per the Xbox Live Storage function.
Steve, would you please at least confirm that you have seen this. If it's not something you guys can fix, would you please at least let me know how far away I need to get from the edge wall of the world before I can be assured that blocks I mine away don't replace themselves after a save and exit and reload. I don't mind so much the now unlimited sources of gold, iron, redstone and coal I have in this world so far (and I'm looking forward to perhaps finding an unlimited edge-wall source of diamonds as well). However, I have done everything I can think of doing to try to stop the reappear water source blocks from flooding away my rail line and I am at wits end. Also, I have since discover that the reappearing blocks are totally repeatable in another copy of the TU8 tutorial world. When I get home again later tonight, I can even give you coordinates where this is repeatedly occurring.
Also, I would like to cast my vote with the many others who would like to see the minecart speed adjusted to be at least somewhat faster again.

It's not something I've seen.
Currently looking into this issue though.

Redstone is goosed, redstone torches on the side of a block disabled with a repeater act as buds.
Place a repeater pointing into a block with a redstone torch on the side, now power the repeater & destroy it, the redstone torch won't enable until you update a block next to it, only happens when placed on th side of a block.
Don't know if was intended or not, but the villagers when breeding do not show hearts above them any time during or before they spawn in a small one...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Seen chickens spin around oddly, when holding seeds out. They will follow for a bit then spin around in place and makes difficult to lead them into a pen of any kind, even through a front door of a house. They always vear off to either the left or right direction and spin. I am unsure if the other passives do this with wheat, but chickens do it with their food of choice.
The only thing I do know of other passive mobs they have the behavior to get behind you all the time well you are backwards leading them somewhere, and even then not facing them they want to circle around you instead of following you directly. I am sure sometimes it is to avoid certain things but on a plains area makes it more confusing...[...]
I've seen this same behavior with the spinning chickens. It was very difficult to get them to follow me into their pen.
Villagers and the Rain - They have no clue what they are doing, they gather around the doors just going in and out repeatedly. If they are going to stay inside when its raining, then they need to stay inside.
Animal Pathfinding - They do not go into gates as easily as before, I've had sheep constantly get stuck beside a gate, and just stare at me, not even trying to go through the gate even when I'm at the opposite end of the pen. Takes about 5 minutes just to get him in (usually better just to break the gate and bring him in), but of course they have no difficulty wandering out through the gate on their own.
Village Overpopulation - Maybe I'm just "lucky" here, but after just building a few more houses near a village (~6 houses) my villagers started populating like crazy. Initially there weren't enough villagers to support a single Iron Golem, I have 3 wandering the village now (with a 4th that somehow wandered into nearby mines, so I think he just got outside of the village radius). I was planning on building a large commune to support around 20 villagers (so about 60 houses) but it seems I'm already above that number of villagers and I've barely started. I just worry about the lag if I actually build this to completion.
So most of these are just minor annoyances currently. I have't gotten to the minecarts yet with the expansion (I start new worlds on update), but if with this update could it pull the increased power to furnace minecarts forward, that way they could do the 1/1 slopes pushing an occupied minecart?
1.) HUD opacity at 15% but the Amounts of Quick bar are at 100%, at 5% and lower numbers act correctly. (I'll double check my % amounts and edit if different)
2.) Grass/Trees on fire due to lightning don't go out naturally, Punching has no effect. Digging up block removes flame, until block is replaced then fire returns. if covered by a block this will put out fire. (I was a guest but host also had same bug fire is active to spread) have only had this instance once as it seems to never thunder in my current seed.

Well the bug that i found is that when you turn over 6 redstone lamps turn off the lights and stays there this also happens with the monster spawners
I question the necessity of this considering I just posted about this....

There was another bug, but I can't remember what it was at the moment.
