Of course they aren't adding stuff like Villager trading, hoppers, anvils and other stuff because they all came much later. I was just surprised about the sandstone because that's kind of a small feature.
Plus they didn't add much because they completely changed the inside "engine" of they game. But I am still very happy about the new update

This. As nice as it would've been to get some of that stuff, double-build height and texture packs are two items that could've easily gotten tricky during implementation.
Wait, doesn't the changelog say "Added Chiseled Sandstone" or something along those lines?

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.

They added Chiseled Stone Block.
I feel sorry for the people expecting anything else but the 1.2 update. We got more than what that update added so why are we complaining. Most of the people in here were apparently expecting them to jump to 1.5 and fill everything in between. 3 months is not that long guys, especially for an update this large.
Im more or less satisfied with whats written in the changelog. Some things are missing but are actually in the update (like sideways logs and Jungle Leaf blocks). I think there's more than what's been posted.
And I really wish people would stop using the non-argument of "it wasnt in PC version x.x.x so it won't be in this update." Yea, because 4J has never pulled features ahead.

1. Why do you believe that there are sideways logs in TU12? Where have you seen that?
2. The argument is not that features won't be in the update if they aren't in the corresponding pc version. The argument is that people shouldn't feel and act entitled to features that were never confirmed to be in the update and were not added yet with the pc version that the update is based on. In other words, 4J could absolutely decide to move forward any features that they want, but people shouldn't be getting their hopes up and getting upset and disappointed when they don't get the features that they want earlier than the PC version equivalent.

They never said it was going to be in though, so why act like it's supposed to be in? none of this stuff was shown in screenshots so why are people asking about it? Cause they assume stuff, like they know more about what the update has than 4J.
Also sideways logs were not in 1.2. So you're also wrong there..
I have noticed that sometimes 4j leaves smaller, more technical things out of the change log, weather on purpose or not.
I actually still think there is a possibility for stuff like having redstone on glowstone, mining ice, and sideways logs even though they aren't in the change log, although they very well may not be in the update either.
One of the bugs for TU10/11 is that silk touch doesn't pick up ice. If you go to the bug list it's number 12 under Block/item bugs
I'm bad at explaining things, so i'll try again. Being able to obtain ice blocks via silk touch wasn't fixed until MC 1.3.1 on the PC. TU12 on the XBox is supposed to be equivalent to the PC's MC 1.2.3, which was before 1.3.1. I've read and reread the version history on the wiki and still haven't found anything that says otherwise for either the PC or the XBox versions. Also, if you go to the official bug list for TU11 (XBox), not being able to get ice blocks with silk touch is the 63rd bug listed and, in my opinion, not likely to be fixed until later.

~My problem is a simple one: I'm severely allergic to stupid.~
Speaking of things that seem to be missing, aren't we supposed to gain the ability to place redstone on glowstone? I don't see it in the change log and I thought we were supposed to get that feature. Curious.
You can place Redstone on Glowstone in TU12

Yay! Thanks for letting us know! It's really fantastic to see you guys interact with the Minecraft community. I hope you don't let all the complainers get you down. You guys are doing wonderful work. Myself and many many others are super excited to experience TU12 very soon and very much excited for the future of Minecraft Xbox.

The list I was referring to was the second post, which IMO is much more organized.
What you are saying is true. But if it was a bug that's listed for TU11, why would 4J keep that bug in the game all the way through TU12-13? To make the game changes exactly the same as the PC version? That doesn't make sense, and contradicts some of the features 4J has implemented before. 4J has implemented features after they were fixed because it doesn't make sense to implement a feature that's bugged and to keep the bug in their just because that's what happened on the PC version doesn't seem like something 4J would do, IMO.

*shrugs* I honestly don't know. With all that has been brought forward, i'm always grateful, but it doesn't make sense to my over-logical brain that all the known bugs from the PC aren't being fixed/eliminated/prevented before they can ever occur on the XBox. However, i'm not a programmer, so all i can do is speculate/wonder. We could debate the "why" for eons, but it could be anything from a choice to complications with transposing code from Java to C++. Obviously, we can only speculate.
Confirms you can place Redstone on Glowstone, which is something new, yet it is not in the TU12 change log. They are human. Humans are not infallible. It also is not the end of the world like people act like it is if they accidentally leave something out of the change log.
1. Why do you believe that there are sideways logs in TU12? Where have you seen that?
I haven't "seen" it anywhere. But upside-down stairs / slabs and the later released corner stairs are in the update. It's a simple thing to assume sideways logs were also added.
2. The argument is not that features won't be in the update if they aren't in the corresponding pc version. I can agree with this reasoning, that things should not be "expected", but its still a moot point. The PC change log should have absolutely no relevance to the Xbox version. None! What with 4J pulling features ahead, and the plans to "go-its-own-way" there is no credability to this argument. And 4JSteve's recent post about the Glowstone only proves my point that things are left out of the change log.

Both of these points have been addressed above.
And I never said sideways logs were in 1.2 so don't put words in my mouth. Secondly, saying I am "also" wrong implies you have proved me wrong once already... which you haven't (nevermind that I am "also wrong" based off of a fabrication).
If sideways logs are in the update, I expect a full and sincere apology from you, Poetic.

If one were to base things on the preview that microsoft gave, then sideways logs are not in. If they were the logs in the jungle and huge oak trees would show it. I would love to see them myself, but that is a leap of faith that might not happen this time around. That preview was pretty accurate, but also in the preview they look to prove no height improvement, so I am skeptical whether it is in or not. I'll just have to wait and see when it does finally arrive.:D

Does that mean glowstone logic will work? Or in a simpler way, is glowstone still a transparent block in TU12?
