hello, i am new to minecraft and i got the beta on sale
i manage to make the visible distance up too 700 but now the game is laggy ... is there a way to make it run faster, maybe by making it use more ram or something
my computer have an amd fx 8320 with a nvidea gtx 950 and 16 gb of ram
I use a laptop with 6th gen i5, integrated graphics, with 8gb ram. Not even close to your configuration.
I run the game window maximized on my QHD screen, with max view distance in the setting, and the game runs without lag. Granted, I've only played around with the game for about an hour, but it ran smoothly during that time. Minecraft Win10 is optimized to run well on even low spec'd computers and tablets and my/many people's experiences confirm that.
Your pc's specs are more than enough for Minecraft. it must be something else -- I'm not familiar with AMD these days, but a while ago some people had problems with certain games with AMD graphics or CPUs. Could that still be the case with yours? Or more likely it's some sort of software or driver issue. I won't give instructions about how to reinstall or update stuff to test for those issues since they're pretty basic, you might have already tried them...but anyway, I'm sure your ram or graphics card doesn't need upgrading.
Edit: I'm not sure what you mean by making the game use more ram -- never heard of a game limiting the use of ram when there's more than plenty to go around. Though there might be throttling if the cpu or gpu gets too hot. Or through power saver settings if it's a laptop.
Edit 2: Okay, just realized you wrote "visible distance up to 700." So you've tweaked the game to make it more than the maximum distance of the vanilla game? In that case I guess this post doesn't help at all. Sorry.
but increasing ram hes refering to the java version which this ones not in java and shouldent fall prey to the same issues, im runnin an i7 myself and since this version cant be modded yet ive got everything on max with no issues.
yes but i modded to use 700 instead of 350 and it looks nice but like i said MC W10 edition is my first minecraft so i like the old way the interface look (and by old i mean 0.12.0 ) so i want to get more FPS, more distance and to make the UI smaller

You mod it, double the view distance, want more FPS, more distance, and a smaller UI (it's not small if you're on a phone).... and expect it not to lag? That's a lot to ask for your "first Minecraft" (somehow I have a hard time believing it's your "first Minecraft").
It is what it is.
The java version is for modding, etc. I'd play that one.
you sound like i am coming a crime ... i have the PC to back it up .. i know they can increase how much ram the Java version uses ... i just wanna know if there is a way to manipulated on MCW10e
I wasn't implying that you were a criminal, I was implying that you can't assume that just because you can do something in one version you should be able to do it in another. Every version of MC is unique. There's not one Minecraft anymore, there's several Minecrafts.... and one isn't better than another.
* Win10 is the first version that's come out since MS took over. You don't think coming up with a Windows 10-only version was Mojang's idea, do you? But one of the things (probably MS) insisted on is that it should be a fairly "closed" program- players can't mess with the program like they can with the java version. It's not "customizable".
* You're playing it on a PC. You're forgetting that this version was designed from the get-go to also be played on smartphones and tablets (another reason for the "closed" system). Don't assume it's just another PC (java-like) version.
No, I'm almost positive you can't "manipulate" it. From what I've read, if you try it probably won't run. (Windows 10 has a "changed file" checker built in).

I "have the PC to back it up" too.

Like I said "It is what it is".
