My design is quite small and compact. It has both a visual and audible alert system to let you know when your items are ready.
It's self reseting, so no buttons or levers. It's also pistonless, I can't say I've seen another design that's pistonless, or self reseting for that matter.
I tried building the same contraption as in the video but on my PC and it just goes off ringing on its own once every 10 seconds without cooking anything in furnaces. Not sure what I did wrong there or perhaps this only works on PS4?

I know that when I was coming up with the first design, that the bud switch was playing up in one direction.
It kept making an infinite loop in the circuit. So maybe try building it another direction?
