I quite like it, kind of quaint really and great use of woods. Here's mine, it's nothing brilliant but I spend most of my time away exploring, and building in survival mode can be pretty tricky.
I've planted everything except melons, I've been through about 6 villages but so far haven't found any.
Pretty good for a first and good size too. As for melons, I don't think they ever grow in villages. You have to look for melon seeds in dungeons and abandoned mine shafts.
Nice work Minecrafters, here's mine although I restarted on another world last night so this one's vacant now but I'll be building something very similar in the next.
It looks just like a building I saw in a Minecraft 'let's play' video from Greg and Brian at IGN but the stone brick part was just stone and the roof was quartz.
Here's mine, not the best ever made but so much better than just dirt, living in a tunnel or cave.
