Other bug I found was when I was playing in two player mode with two controllers and in split screen, when I turned the second controller off the game crashed.
This happened to me as well. Also my stuff disappearing in chests and signs had no writing on them.

Guys i'm experiencing a big problem: if i play local multiplayer with PS Camera inserted, every thing i say gets repeated by my tv over and over. I have to insert something in audio jack in order to stop that annoying sound. Please fix it...
Go into adjust devices on the ps4 menu and mute your camera's mic. Should fix it

I noticed I was not able to place a door on top of a slab block on the second story of my house. The door would place for a brief second and then pop out onto the ground.
If you start a new world with a trial texture pack, then save and choose to unlock the texture pack, the game enters an infinite crash to home loop, even if you go to the PS store to buy said texture pack. You have to force close Minecraft in order to play again.
I can't seem to join my friends world online. It worked on the first couple of days we played together, now it just loads forever on that certain world. Today, I was joining his tutorial world and it worked the first time he kicked me and reloaded the world. I couldn't join, it kept on saying "connection lost". He tried his other world which loads forever still didn't work.
Bugs I've found that I didn't see listed here yet:
1.) Boat breaking in 1 block deep water with solid ground beneath it. For whatever reason, the boat seemed to be crashing into the block below the water, only occurred to me once, no idea how to replicate.
2.) Skeletons shoot IMMEDIATELY when they can see your hit-box. This is not the case in PC minecraft. This bug is caused by the coding having the skeleton set to ready to fire, as opposed to recharging the bow, then firing, allowing for a lightning fast arrow shot. This also produces the annoying skeleton bouncing on the other side of a wall in water, still able to shoot you without much trouble. Extremely annoying.
3.) Skeleton sounds are wrong I believe, they seem a bit too much like the old sounds, as opposed to the new sounds.
4.) Mob footstep sounds don't play all the time. Apparently Minecraft has ninja cat creepers that make no noise when they sneak up on you.
5.) Hostile mobs can extremely rarely spawn in a Mushroom Island biome. Have seen it twice. The only mob that can naturally spawn, without a spawner, in a Mushroom Island biome is the Mooshroom. I am aware that if a grass block from another biome (such as an ocean biome) is within the Mushroom Island biome they can spawn there, however, I had a creeper spawn in the middle of a Mushroom Island biome.
6.) Mooshrooms don't generate with Mushroom Island biomes. You have to make them spawn, which can sometimes be almost impossible.
7.) Zombie Pigmen can sometimes become aggressive to the player if they are struck by a ghast's fireball. (Has occured a couple times to me, in different locations of the Nether. A ghast was shooting at me, and a fireball missed me, but hit a pig about 5 blocks away from me. The pig became aggressive to me and began attacking me. Before the fireball they had not been struck by me, or any other player.)
8.) Ghast mob noises are too quiet.
I'm having the same problem the blocks disappearing from chests. But when I got kicked out of the game, and join back this time its like the map completely reset itself. Not only did I loose the items in the chests, but most of the structures that we built were gone. This has happened two times all ready. Please fix this bug.
Don't know if it could really be considered a bug or not, but no option to load texture packs when joining somebody else's game. May seem trivial, but wish I could...
4JSteve, I finally got a picture from when there is a giant hole that goes all the way through the map. If you enter the hole, you twitch around but don't fall... i haven't entered one in survival mode (but have seen it occur). This time it happened in creative, so i don't die going into it, just glitch out.

That is called a chunk error. The chunk just simply did not load. A chunk is a 16x16x256 section of a minecraft world. What you see is one just simply failing to render. Just exit, then re-enter, that probably will fix it.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I keep getting screen tips for certain blocks every time I load the game (the tips that come on the screen displaying what a block is, supposed to only come up the first time u see them).
It doesn't happen for most blocks, but I've noticed it happens for: Iron Blocks, Glowstone, Glass Panes, Torches... Possibly more.
It's not a major bug by any means, but it's kind of annoying always having the screen tips pop up the first time I see those things each time I load my world.

~ Dream like you'll live forever, Live like you'll die tomorrow ~
I know the bug regarding disappearing items in chest has been addressed but I hopped on my ps4 mc world and witnessed another bug. Not only did every item placed in chests disappear, but also all of the villagers and fenced animals near the chests disappeared. The world definitely saved as i didn't change the constant autosaving feature and exited properly.
I was playing along fine, on my second day after purchasing the game for my PS4. Then I suffered a very short power outage — blink, and it wouldn't have happened. When I turned on my PS4 and restarted Minecraft, I was spawning at the start point, not my bed (where I'd "slept" at least 20 times since beginning the game), and my world had been entirely reset. Nothing I'd done remained, all my loot entirely gone. The only thing I had was the inventory I was carrying. I had managed to mine out a HUGE chunk, cannibalizing one of the abandoned mines I'd found, and had multiple chests stocked with MANY resources and creations. All, gone; everything gone.
Why would any developer, of any game, allow a world to be entirely automatically reset? Imagine starting any other game and discovering all your progress wiped completely away. This, despite that "automatic save" function of the game; this despite actually logging out of the game several times and letting the game save each time.
Why is there no possibility in this game to save manually from the options menu while playing? I swear I looked more than once, just to be sure. If we would just be allowed 3 game-save slots, for manual saves, this would never have happened; at worst, we could go back to load a previously saved version, one that's not an entire wipe.
Pretty much my whole weekend is gone now (literally), and I have almost zero desire to begin anew with my world. What would be the point, if it could just happen again? I'm going to make sure my nephew and brother-in-law never order this game on PS4, and anyone else who asks.
FWIW, I was playing the offline version of the game, although my PS4 was (as it always is) connected to the internet via wireless.

•colors of dogs/other mobs glitch out, for example, tamed wolves would sometimes show up as black instead of their regular color
•some arrows after being shot start glitching when stuck to a wall (only noticeable from certain angles)
•minecrafft store content not available within Minecraft, have to purchase dlc directly through PlaystationStore
But you can see all the edges, and in certain angles, renders the glass opaque. Until that is correct, I'll have to use glass panes.
