After several months, a lot of random builds, and lots of wandering around, Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome celebrates ONE HUNDRED episodes in "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 100: PD Is Very Thankful And Celebrates 100 Episodes!".
From the description: "And so it's finally come to pass: after months of playing around, fooling around, touring around, and rambling around semi-coherently, Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome has reached the impressive milestone of 100 episodes. I'd like to once again thank the MAIA fanbase for their continued support, without you there's no way I would have had the energy and desire to take this series into triple digits. As always, I'd like to thank Fraser as well for being a constant source of motivation and inspiration. Thanks everybody! I can't say "thank you" enough. You guys are awesome and here's to 100 more episodes!"
The tour of New Old Port takes center stage once again in "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 101: A Hotel In A Mod-Exclusive Community".
From the description: "The tour of New Old Port gets back underway and in fact nears its conclusion, as awesome mod Mellisbaker continues to tour me through the sights and sounds of the new world's mod-exclusive community. I run afoul of those devil mooshroom abominations, and also get my troll on as I walk through a hotel built in the middle of an exclusive community."
Due to some various complications I'm a bit behind on plugging the latest episode of MAIA, and I'm behind on recording MAIA as well. Sorry guys! I plan to record all day tomorrow and upload two episodes instead of the usual one on Saturday, the next day a MAIA episode is scheduled.
That said, the latest MAIA episode is currently "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 102: A Fond Farewell To New Old Port".
From the description: "My special tour of the mod-exclusive community of New Old Port comes to a close today, as I check out some final sights, get toured around a bit more by the awesome mellisbaker, and finally depart with some encouraging words of hope and respect towards the ever-present team of moderators and builders that help make this server so great."
Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome begins its next big arc in a two-for-one special! I take on the Minecraft Awesome server's new anime-themed community, Neo Japan, in MAIA Episodes 103 and 104!
From the description: "With several New World locations already under my belt, it's time to fulfill my promise and check out my friend's new community! Now officially named "Neo Japan", this anime-themed community is ran by three great builders who, working with a team of also-awesome Minecraft Awesomers, have built a growing community that already has cool builds, sprite art, and lots to explore!"
The tour of Neo Japan concludes in "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 105: Domo Arigato Neo Japan! Sayonara!".
From the description: "And so the "mini-arc" tour of the Neo Japan community draws to a close! Neo Japan is a growing community and there's a lot of room to grow, and while some of the anime references were lost on me, I still enjoyed looking at all the nice builds in Neo Japan so far. With a team of great builders and leaders behind it, Neo Japan has a whole lot of potential and I can't wait to see what changes by the time I head back to this community."
It fills me with a considerable amount of pride to present my own Minecraft Awesome community in "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 106: We're Still Here, And We're Still Random".
From the description: "Now it's time for some shameless self-promotion! I'm more than happy to tour my own New World community, Still Random! Just like the original Random in the original world, Still Random is a "build anything anywhere for any reason" community, and it's this unique idea that has helped make Still Random a growing community of great builders!"
It's another double posting for today as I try to get caught up on a couple of things, here's MAIA Episode 107 and 108, featuring my very own Minecraft Awesome community, Still Random!
Two episodes again this time, once again covering my own community of Still Random! Featuring more awesome builds, the nether, and more random ramblings. Hope you enjoy!
In order to cut down on post spam (which I've been accused of in the past) I'm going to start waiting until I've finished my week of Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome videos to post the videos on the topics I use to advertise this series. So, I'll be going from three posts with one video per week to one post with three videos per week.
With that said, this week's videos feature my large community "Still Random", including a giant, functioning Mario Kart racetrack! Hope you enjoy, feedback is always appreciated.
For today's week on Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome postings, I check out the 3D statue art of a Minecraft Awesome member named BoltFox. Featuring Goombas, Big Boo's, Link, Yoshi, and more! If you like sprite art, you'll definitely love 3D statue art.
Thread resurrection time! Four new videos for ya, featuring the end of my Minecraft Statue Art tour and the first three videos of my tour of a magic-themed community called The Empyrean!
The latest two episodes of Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome features the conclusion to SogHog's Empyrean Empire Arc! This magic-themed community was a blast to tour, and it's off to a great start! Many thanks go out to SogHog for being an awesome tour guide.
Time for another big ‘ol MAIA resurrection update! I’m actually not dead, just crazy busy lately. To help stop the post necromancy, I’m going back to my previous way of updating this topic, which is to update once every time a new episode comes out. Hope y’all understand, and as always, thanks so much for the feedback and remember to stay awesome!
It feels a lot longer, but I think I've only missed a month or so since I've been actively recording and editing and uploading and all that stuff. But I'm back now, and the builds of the Minecraft Awesome server are as awesome as ever. Due to the fact that I switched from YouTube to Blip due to YouTube being... well, being asshats... I now only post short one-minute highlight videos to each individual episode, with the link to the full episode being in the description of the YouTube video.
So, since a lot of forums still have specific codes for YouTube, I'm just going to be embedding the short YouTube highlight videos and not to the longer, blip-hosted full videos.
And that's that! I'll be spreading the love to this board, the other main boards I post on, and maybe even some new boards if Google is being kind to me. Just want to give a big "thank you" to all my supporters across the internet! You guys are the definition of awesome.
The tour of "The Edge" continues as I get a little personal concerning my recent hiatus from Minecraft and, in general, all things internet. Hope y'all enjoy! Remember, link to full video in the description. I'll put that disclaimer in one more time (in the next video) and then remove it so as not to be redundant.
The latest episode of MAIA features more open and honest talk about where I've been and why I've been gone, set to more awesomeness from The Edge community, including the famous/infamous Edge Brothel. Hope y'all enjoy!
MAIA continues to treck along with two new videos featuring "The Edge", one of Minecraft Awesome's largest, most active, most vibrant, most awesome communities! Much eye candy has been seen so far, and there's still plenty more to come!
