As many of you are probably aware of, there is a well known minecraft crash issue with AMD Drivers. For those of you that are unaware of this issue after anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes of gameplay minecraft will crash and a message will come up saying "Display Driver has Stopped Responding and has Recovered"
No one seems to be able to find a solution to this so I am hopping on this thread we will finally be able to fix this.
The only current way to "work around" this is to install a non offical driver made by a third party website which made my minecraft very laggy and thus was not a good fix for me.
So any suggestions are welcome and together we can fix this issue.
*Computer Specs*
- HP dv7 Laptop
- Windows 7 64 Bit
- ATI Radeon HD 6770M
- 8.00 GB RAM
Mostly because the problem is closer related to the drivers or the card.... both of which can't be manipulated without knowledge in writing and debugging drivers. It would also probably require help from Oracle since the JRE is the one trying to call them.
Hey guys i found a solution but its a bit of a compromise. You need to go back to the default ati driver that came with the laptop when you first got it.
