Continuing from the title, my achievements and stats reset for no reason what so ever. I have modded it in the past but nothing was changed afterwards. I have achieved as much as possible when I played, but only after exiting the game I notice that all my stats and achievements reset for no reason what so ever. I know this bug has shown up in support before, but in my situation it was different. I only get the reset bug whenever I achieved a custom achievement from the two custom achievement groups, vanilla achievements never caused the bug. It seem as though minecraft does not support custom achievements and I even backed up my stats, but they aren't recognized and I used the same user name. If someone could explain to me why this is occurring and how could I temporarily fix it, until minecraft devs could fix it, I would be grateful.

Exact same issue. Running on windows7
10 gigs of free space on the partition where the .minecraft folder is. So that's not it
I'm not changing versions or using snap shots. so that's not it either.
I'm the only one who uses this computer and always play online with my ONE account. So that can't be the issue.
I'm using mods though. IC2 is the only one currently that uses achievements. Those also reset.
List of mods and changes made:
buildcraft
railcraft
industrialcraft2
redpower
steves carts
rei's minimap
logistics pipes
invtweaks
EE
(the duh's requirements)
roaming folder is not located on c:\ =P
Also, when only using IC2 back before I wanted to try and learn 348 mod trees and builds at once the achievements worked perfectly. Login and start a new map and I have everything saved from other maps.
(would greatly appreciate input that's not what I saw on the other threads: "I'm having the exact opposite problem", just delete your jar and reinstall you will have to start all over =P back up your worlds first though
)
Mods are not officially supported because of the way they are implemented (they are essentially uncontrolled, and many do change the core functionality of the game).
Aside from offline mode changing your user ID, there isn't anything Mojang can or will do about it until the Mod API specifications are set (which isn't due until 1.4). So the only people who may be able to figure out whats going on are the mod makers themselves, and the techie types that monitor them.
Most, if not all of them maintain a mod thread on this forum. You can try parsing them for known issues, and/or a way to contact or post your issue.
