Hey I know a million people have posted this before. I've read though a few of them and it seems that everyone that has this problem is different in one way or another.
Bad video card drivers!
-----------------------
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

I have a Geforce GTX 560. Other games seem to work fine like SWTOR and LOL.
Right click on your desktop, then do properties > settings > advanced > troubleshoot, then drag the hardware acceleration thing down to the third tick from "none".
Or, you could go to this page and use Gen7's workaround for bad video card drivers.
I find Apple's OS prices amusing. They make you pay so much more for air, and many people think it's the OS that's putting on tons of money. But no, it's just the air inside the case.

So I got a chance to try the special launcher and it also did not fix my problem

The only thing I can suggest is to go to Nvidia's website and get the driver from there.
