I've posted a few support requeste about my sons hacked account over 2 months ago, but still no feedback. I've received a ticket number for the requests, but no answer. Have there been any known problems with customer support during the last months? How can I get in touch with someone that can provide help with us getting back a account being hacked / taken over?

Their customer support system isn't good for any of us so all i can say is to wait it out because I think they are working on a better support system right now(not positive on that) sorry :sad.gif: I'm having problems with them too involving activating my premium account and it's very frustrating but you just have to wait :sad.gif:
PM a forum administrator, but really for getting hacked that's your sons fault, if he didn't share it or put a really easy password it would not of gotten hacked.

Seriously, wtf kind of response is that??? The fact of the matter is that their support sucks PERIOD. People have gone MONTHS without responses from the developers or any of their support staff. This is beyond ridiculous and should be considered fraudulent!

You want 24/7 amazing support from an indie games studio with 12-15 employees?
What world do you live in...
OT: Your son probably got himself hacked by sharing his password or having something simple like 12345. If you really want to get back into the game quickly, instead of demanding amazing support from and INDIE company. Buy another copy. :3

I have 3 accounts :biggrin.gif:
Than you sir are a moron, basically what you are saying is that, since they have sh*t for a support staff that if you have a problem that you should just give them more money.
F$ck that, I have only ever played on my own computer via the downloaded copy that you can get after successfully signing in to Minecraft for the first time. This means that I have never played on a server.
Yet my password and email have both been changed. No I do not use something simple like 1234 for a password if you do than you are stupid, ignorant, or a child who just simply doesnt know better. Since you cant change the email on an account from the website.
That means that poor security on the server, a powerful computer, where the database is, a location where all of the user names and passwords are for all Minecraft accounts, got hacked and that my information was changed in someway.
It would be stupid for me to just buy a new account, they are the ones who got my account compromised and they should fix it.
It's very likely your sons fault for getting hacked. Either by installing a fake mod, giving his pass out, or even having an easy to guess pass.
That said.... about the best you can do is wait, or file another complaint.
Theres always the possibility that you are not receiving a reply because the account is banned for distributing either the jar files or its own password.

Or, you could take into the idea of bruteforcers, and other bots that will take a list of accounts and constantly 24/7 try passwords with them.
I also didn't say that you had to buy another account, however that would instantly get you back into the game.
I doubt it is the account server that is being "hacked" else Mojang would probably tell you to change passwords.
There are countless lists of usernames and password floating around on the internet and your account may be one of them.
Mojang is currently reworking their account system to make it better, HOPEFULLY with automated account recovery.
They recently hired a new employee to work on web design and systems.
Like the above poster mentioned it could be from a fake mod or the other reasons stated.
