My one world will not load, it was working fine yesterday but now it is not. It says "stimulating world" like it normally would, but the load bar stops at 25 percent and sometimes when I wait about 10 minutes or so, the world will load, but it will black. All I can see is my inventory bar at the bottom, same with health, armor and food. The rest is pitch black. Also, other times, it will load what is actually there, but will remain frozen. I have to clt+alt+delete to get my mouse back (it will not let me esc button out) and I have to force shutdown through the task manager.
I have tried several ways of fixing this like I did with my other problems (First problem: computer crashed mid-game, corrupted the save files; fixed it. Second problem: got the dread "saving chunks and black screen," but I fixed that too.)
One more thing, everything else works fine but this world. My other worlds run perfect.

Do you have any mods installed?
Mod lag can cause world corruption.
Also, try to go into one of your other worlds and turning the settings down, ie
Render distance to medium
Change balanced settings to Max FPS
Smooth Lighting Off
Change graphics from fancy to fast.
After doing all of this try to re-load your corrupt world and see if it works
Also...
What did your other world contain?
Large explosions or structures can really lag up your world, if not crash it as in your case.

I already play on the lowest video settings. I do not have any mods downloaded or installed, and my world contains one large tower (maxed out height), a mini-like-town in the snow area of the world, and a chapel-like building in the wooden area. All three structure(s) are located across the world, not near one another. Everything has been there for a week or two now and loaded up fine before, by the way.

Hmmmm...
It would appear your world has been corrupted.
Try to make a copy of it and try to load that instead.
Assuming your using a mac...
Open up finder.
Select your name and go to Library > Application Support > Minecraft > Saves
Then right click the tab containing the name of your world and select copy.
Paste it at least once to make a copy of it next to your original world save.
Open minecraft, load your copied world, and check for success.
Hope this works, like and reply to this if so.

Not using a mac, and I have tried that a few times. That's how I fixed the last two problems with the world.
