So, all day minecraft has been randomly giving 'invalid key' errors, which was a minor annoyance, but after a friend spawned an Enderdragon in the nether I crashed trying to kill it and now get "Internal Exception java.io.IOException: Not in GZIP format" a split second after I connect... any way to fix?
I had sorta the same problem but because i built an end portal. I just deleted my data file for world one (in your case the nether world) and logged in again. This is supposing that you own the server.
Same issue, however with a 1.0.0 bukkit server (That I have ran for a year). All my other users may play just fine, but me - I got that error all the time.
Is this server vanilla, or bukkit? My spawnpoint was originally in the End (Not the real one, made by a third party program and multiworld), and I found my issue went away after setting it to the overworld, then back again.
Hey guys, I am just a normal player, so don't say anything about restarting the server or deleting DAT files (I am not ignorant though, if given hosting responsibilities I wouldn't be COMPLETELY useless. :smile.gif:). But I made a bow on a server (minecraft.blueskullgames.com) and it kicked me and kept saying the invalid key thing. I did not spawn it or anything. Just made a bow and I got kicked. I tried a few times to get in the server and it responded with invalid key over and over. I installed sk89q's fix for this, it didn't work and now all my client says is "The server responded with an invalid key." Or "Blah blah blah. Not in GZIP". Am I doing something wrong? Please help me.

NO! YOU ARE RIGHT! WHEN YOU PICK UP OR SPAWN A BOW, IT CRASHES YOUR ACCOUNT WITH THIS ERROR!
I was trying to make a shop with a bow in it, and I got that error, RIGHT AFTER I spawned the bow.
And no im not getting a problem when i spawned a end world portal.
