So, I recently re-OSed my computer, as it was getting a little slow and cluttered. I usually do this about 3-4 times a year, and it's kept my 2005 tower pretty spiffy. What I'm confused about, is that this time, but no other time in the past, it is giving me a bad video card driver error. This has never happened to me before after re-OSing the computer.
I've ran it in compatibility mode for windows XP. I've downloaded that non-english-as-a-first-language guy's minecraft.exe and the jar file and tinkered with that the best I could to no avail. Not sure what's going on.
It's just a standard windows 7, registered 100%, ran all of the windows updates, have the latest version of Java, have a good graphics card, have the latest minecraft download, so, what's going on? need help :C my creativity is choked
Post a dxdiag.
1) Run 'dxdiag' (Windows + R), Click 'Save All Information'
2) Open dxdiag.txt, copy/paste up to Sound Devices in code snippet tags.
hmm, guess that would be clever now wouldn't it.

I did this earlier today, it updated a networking thing but that was it, it said my graphics card was current and still says it is. Here's what it said in that link just now, even.
Product Detected Intel® G33/G31
Current Driver Installed 8.15.10.1749
Your driver is current.
same driver as what was in my specs up there. Not sure what to try now :I
Figured it out. Apparently there were 3 updates that decided they didn't want to update in WINDOWS UPDATES of all things. One of them was the graphics driver update I needed.
So I just went full retard. Thanks for the help man!
