The sound and music sliders are at the off position in the options menu, and when I click on them to move the slider, Minecraft crashes. I tried forcing updates, downgrading, etc., but it crashes no matter what. Does anyone know how to fix this? I really want my sound back.
I think it might have to do with the OpenAL64.dll and OpenAL32.dll in your Natives folder. I heard they cause audio problems. You can try to search for the same ones in your computer via search, and then replace the minecraft ones with a copy of those. I can't guarantee it'll work, though.
