Had a power failure while online and I seem to have lost the world i've been building for weeks. Arrrgh!!! Any ideas on how to recover??

Sorry, I cannot think of a way to help you.... I suggest backing up in the future.

Open it in MCEdit. It should still be in you saves folder.

check your recycling bin maybe its in there if not i dont know what to say

There are automatic backup plugins for Bukkit.

Se now when I go on Minecraft the world is not an option for me to pick, so MCedit doesnt recognize it. It may, but im not sure how to use the site. Help?

Pro-tip: Don't use electrical devices during a major weather event. Should always unplug anything with sensitive electronics when you know you will be receiving rough weather.

Of course it depends on where you live, but why were you playing at the time? Shouldn't you run for your ****ing life instead of playing minecraft when a hurricane is coming towards your house..? :tongue.gif:

Ok I understand I shouldntve been on, but it was a tropical storm and I really love this game. Instead of telling me that could someone please help? I live in new england if it helps
