I've tried to connect to several servers, all of which are confirmed up by their owners and have people online. I get the Connection timed out error no matter which server I try to go on. It was working fine up until today. I switched ISPs from Comcast to Verizon and downgraded from Cable to DSL last week, but it was working fine previously. I have an Acer Aspire 2009 with Windows Vista. Please and thank you! :smile.gif:

You may have to open your incoming port. You can do this by going into your modem's security settings (there are lots of tutorials on how to do this, and you can probably find one for your exact model too)
If you're trying to connect to servers being hosted by Brohoster/club uptime that will be happening. Both companies went out of business, and now 600 or so servers are down for now.
Opening ports?
I think I can help you with that, I also play a game called Total Annihilation which uses Directplay. (You need to forward ports and crap)
Also, check firewall, I have had that issue in the past when Windows Firewall blocks Javaw.exe from doing its thing.
Idk. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.....
