I'm having issues with my server ever since I tried to update it. Now no matter what I do, whenever I try to connect to it I end up in a terrain-less void with falling monsters and such. I am completely new to hosting a server, I'm only running it for myself and one other person. Initially I had been trying to save our old map, but now I can't even get a new one to work. I deleted everything and started from scratch even, and nothing seems to work. I have tried connecting from the server computer and from my laptop.
Seems like the server doesn't have that many RAM. But then it had like 200MB ram(which is not possible for computer theses days).
-Did you download the server tool from minecraft.net?
If not, do then
-Check if the java is running with the
could u explain how to run java with the arguements?
I just attempted, once again, to make sure I removed anything and everything minecraft-server related from my computer and redownload from scratch. It was working fine yesterday and now it is not, which makes me think it has to do with the new update. At least I'm not the only one with this problem. Need answers please ;__;
I just once again tried to join the server, and this time for some reason I landed on actual solid ground; But only a small little spit of land surrounded by void and mobs and specks of lava. Maybe it just needs time to even itself out..? I don't really know. Going to keep watching this thread for answers.
