Well, in my castle, I'm building a room where the wall is flowing lava (there's stone behind it to act as the "real" wall) and I want the lava to flow down straight for each stone block I place it on, it works until it get to the bottom and then spreads out, so is there a way to do this?

Have the water flow into a small hole in the ground at the bottom. It will fall into the hole and stop spreading.
