For macs all you have to do is get to where your saves are...
Basically open up your hard drive
under places go to your name
hen open the folder Library
Open the folder Application Support
find the minecraft folder, and open in
you should see a folder named saves
open it and there are all the worlds you've ever made
REMEMBER: back up these saves
now just take the save you downloaded and put it in that folder and run minecraft

when i tried this before, nothing happened. in fact it gave me a black screen. luckily i can get it out, but do i replace it or what?
