Every few minutes as I'm walking around, my player seems to get "stuck" on the terrain for a few seconds. The viewport shakes rapidly and my hand/tool jitters a lot. After 2-3 seconds it's back to normal. It's really annoying though. It even happens on flat ground, so it's not like I'm butting up against a hill or something.

Has anyone else seen this?

I haven't seen this before in my own experience in minecraft, single or multiplayer. I'd say its just minor lag if its only for a few seconds. I have had my view randomly shake around, but only after some serious lag.

Hmn, this is the same that I'm experiencing right now, you're not alone! I couldn't think of any way to describe it in the search, found this by just browsing through each page of the forum.

Its a miner glitch... Why it does this is because some times you character miss steps and gets stuck between 2 blocks.

I got stuck in the ground and cannot escape ever since the 1.5_01 update.

It isn't like this though, my guy is stuck sideways.

This is very likely a chunk fail error.

Post on my sig and we might be able to fix the stuck problem
