Since ive bought and uploaded Minecraft Alpha, my game has been freezing randomly. the game will start up fine but after playing for about 2-5 minutes my screen will go black. my task manager says that it is "not responding" if i click the close button in the top right of the window, a message pops up and explains that "Java(TM) SE Binary is not responding" and gives the option to close program or wait for it to respond. im not very good with computers so if someone could please please help me it would be greatly appreciated

Update java, if you are using windows 7 or vista, run minecraft.exe as admin. If you are using the in browser, try updating your browser or using the exeutable.

Also, post your dxdiag, click start menu, click run and type dxdiag

Click save all information, save a txt file on the desktop and then copy paste it here.

And if all of this doesn't work, what to do next.

ok so the reinstalling thing for java seems to definatly work but you have to go to your add and remove programs in your control panel and uninstall all things dealing with java/oracle. once that is done, go here and download the development kit. hope that works for yall for its the only thing thats worked for me.
