I had a friend try to gift my account but the paypal page was in swedish, he didn't notice the language button. So he said he opened a new page and filled it out to Notch's email, that mojang.com one. I don't know how paypal works or else I would have bought the game myself, but I think my friend messed it up and didn't specify that my Riyuzakisan account was to be upgraded. So from my view, this guy just wasted 13 USD for nothing. That's my problem. My question is, can this guy get a refund?

He [my friend] said "oh it will work out fine it will probably take a day", which leads to my second question; when a minecraft account is upgraded, does it happen automatically or does it take a day or two? :? any ideas?

It should happen automatically, I've purchased two accounts, (one for my brother, one for me) and both of them were upgraded instantly.

Notch has stated that sometimes it is a bit slow, and if it isn't done in atleast a day or two, then to email him with paypal specifics.

I emailed Notch, he said that my friend missed the auto system. Notch manually found it though and fixed the problem. (thanks notch!) so.. problem solved.
