If you're like me, I've always thought that some parts of minecraft's default language file were more complicated than needed. Why call it 'Oak Wood Planks' when it's easier to just say 'Oak Planks'? I decided to do that myself and give you guys a simplified language file.
in the desired Resource Pack's folder, open pack.mcmeta with a text editor.(I use Notepad or Notepad++)
(Note: 'InsertPackDescriptionHere' is the description for your Resource Pack. For example for the default RP it says 'The default look of Minecraft' under the pack's name.)
Save the file, and the en_SN.lang belongs in the folder MyResourcePack>assets>minecraft>lang
PIXEL ARTISTS: If you share your Resource Pack with the public, and decide to include this language file in your work, all I ask is for you give credit where it's due and provide a link to this thread.(No adf.ly pls.)
If you're a Youtuber who has a Private Resource Pack and wishes to include this into it, all I ask is for you to link this thread in your vids.
I hope I wasn't confusing, I wasn't 100% sure how I'd word this out lol.

(Note: 'InsertPackDescriptionHere' is the description for your Resource Pack. For example for the default RP it says 'The default look of Minecraft' under the pack's name.)
Below "description":"My Resource Pack", add
You should end up with something like this:
Save the file, and the en_SN.lang belongs in the folder MyResourcePack>assets>minecraft>lang
