Description:
The Al-Bhed are a technologically adept human tribe from the games Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 who are notable both for their unique language and use of machines (machina).
The English version of the game's language is simple letter-replacement. It was simple enough to convert from English to Al-Bhed because of this. It has phonetics, so the language can be spoken as well as read. Reading it is far easier than speaking it, however.

If you like the Al-Bhed language and/or would like to include the language file in your resource pack, feel free to do so. Credit for the translation would be nice, but not required.
Resource Pack Version: If the only thing you're changing is the language files and no textures/sounds/etc., then you can simple download the Resource Pack version and add it to your .minecraft/resourcepacks directory. Once done, run the game and go to the language selection interface. The packs are sorted by region name, and the region name for Al-Bhed is "Spira", so scroll down to the "S" section and select it.
Note: The Resource Pack version also includes a translated splashes.txt.
Adding it to your own custom pack:
If what you want to do is add the Al-Bhed Language to your own custom resource pack, you'll need to download the Standalone Language File copy it into the assets/minecraft/lang directory of your Resource Pack and add the following text to your pack.mcmeta file after the first close curly-bracket
You can download an example standalone pack.mcmeta in the downloads section if you're not sure how to do it, or you can consult the minecraft wiki page for adding languages to your resource pack(s) which will probably be faster.
Please notify me of any bugs in the language file itself or the splashes, should you find any.

I used to maintain the Minecraft Forums Mod List. However, life has stepped in the way of that. Perhaps later...
