Describe your server idea: For quite a while now, I have wanted to host and own my own server. I started a few servers on my computer, developed them, and proceeded to port forward them so I could get them online. It took me two months to find out that my internet provider would not allow me for forward ports. So since then, I have been working on other's servers and helping them out. Just now, I found out that there are AWESOME and extremely generous server hosts (Like the ones reading this right now) who sometimes give away a server too someone who has a good idea and may do well. I'm posting this, with a very good idea for a server. I want to make a server that is unique, but also a little familiar at the same time. I want to make my own "games" that are similar to current favorites including: Skywars, factions, and prison. For example: For a Skyrim inspired prison game, Players start in a jail cell. That player can either work until their sentence in paid off or, they can try to fight the guard or also have a chance to break out with the lock-pick that is always hidden in every cell. If the players break out, then they are wanted. If wanted players die, they will re-spawn in jail again, and their items will be in a locked chest somewhere in the jail. A key is needed to open the chest; That key will be on one of the guards or in a guarded chest. When the players that have served their time in jail die, they will end up in a burial chamber where they can find their items buried or hidden near them. After prisoners are free, (I haven't completely decided on this part) they can either move to the country (Factions) or the the city (city-themed plots) where they can perhaps get a job.
Why you want this server: I love creating things. I love creating big things that are successful. I love creating big successful things that others love and enjoy. I want to create a one of a kind server that people enjoy and tell their friends about. I want to create a big one of a kind server that people enjoy and tell their friends about that also generates an income!
On a scale of 1-10, how badly do you want the server?: I would say 9.5!
How do you plan to generate money?: The possibilities are literally endless, given my ideas and the different games I want to eventually include. I can add some classes, powers, and weapons that can be purchased with real money - just for starters.
Do you already have a community? If so, how many active players? If not, how will you be getting players?: I do not have a community. If anyone knows how to/has already made one, I would appreciate advise on how to start one! I would start getting players by posting a thread here on Minecraftforum and also on Planetminecraft. I would then add the server to an online list of servers.
What makes your server special? Why should I join your server instead of that other server?: My server will be completely original - something epic that's never seen or done before! It's pretty obvious that almost all servers nowadays are almost the same; and if you ever take a look at the most popular servers, you will notice that they are all special and stand out- that is why they do so well.
Is there a reason why you can't pay for this server?: Well....... I live out in the middle of no-where. I have no neighbors to work for, there are about two family owned "local" businesses within my biking distance, I just got my drivers permit so... I can't drive myself to work yet, and I don't beg my parents for things (We don't have much money anyway). This server is what I consider a job opportunity; I want to be able to keep it running and one day make some cash from it.

What you will do for the company in return: I've been thinking it would be a good idea for the host to add the money I would pay if I was renting the server to my "tab", and I will pay it all back once the server starts generating money.

This would be nice for a bunch of friends, but the server stops after 30 days (which is AWESOME because it isn't hard to set up, and you could always download the world file, and start another free server once the 30 days runs out).
However, I wouldn't be able to use this for what I want to do. Great free servers though
