I have recently got a new server host (Bisect Hosting) and i download the logs but when i open then in 9zip, word or notepad this is what it reads as....
Just decompress it first. You said you have 9zip, use that to decompress the file to just ".log". I've never used 9zip so I cannot advise you on specifically how to do that with it, but I imagine it's fairly straightforward.
