I have a multicraft control panel installed and configured to connect to a remote daemon server everything works perfectly exept FTP when i try to use the built in FTP client it never connects when i connect with FileZilla is connects i can read but i can not write or upload
Sounds like a permissions issue assuming you are on linux with the default set up the command is chown -R user:group /home/minecraft/multicraft/server/server(id)

I represent Hostyourbox.com, LLC. We currently specialize in Minecraft and VPS hosting, but offer multiple other services as well.
Which multicraft log did you check? There are multiple, some daemon side and others on the webpanel side (where the built in FTP client has its folder.). Something that will greatly help us all is if you explain a bit further what happens, when does this error come up and maybe add a screenshot to this thread.
From my knowledge with multicraft I would check the log located on the website end under the directories: protected/runtime/application.log. This is the file where all errors from the built in FTP get logged. Please make sure all the permissions are right and as already said you have to make sure that the group and owner info is also set to your webservice. This meaning if you use apache its going to be apache.
Once we have all of that information we can help you further.
