Since the server app is a java file, is it possible for me just to upload all the server files and to have a java script that runs the server programme 24/7.... too bad I am not good in Linux, but can anyone help me? I don't care if it's hard, I am comfortable with programming scripts and code, I just need someone to guide me please.
I am only hosting the server for me my bro and one of my friends, so I think it won't be very stressful for the server. I highly prefer to do it myself, because I wanna keep myself from paying anything game related and to keep my wallet fat :p. The problem for me about computer hosting is that all 3 of us are in different time zones. I'm at GMT -5 my friend at GMT 0 my bro at GMT +8...if they wanna play I probably will have to have my server up 24/7 which is not very possible....

So, Basically it is an awesome service that let's you get minecraft server's for free. There is one catch though. You need to renew the server every 35 hours so you can play on it but other than that, it's free. When you start it up, there is a wait, but subscribe to their youtube channel and follow their twitch or follow their twitter and you will have it set up immediately. I haven't used it, because of the renewing thing, but I have tried it out, and it is better than hosting on you own computer!. The website is www.triangle.gs
what about renewing? you just need to have a block update or you have to do something else.
This sounds like a nice alternative if my webpage fails. Actually I'm more into learning networking and server stuff.. am currently meesing with xampp, anyone know does it have any use in setting up a server?

For simple home hosting you don't use a website. In fact usually a server is not hosted off a website, rather controlled by an application running on a web server presenting itself as a website.
All you need is a folder with your minecraft server jar, and a startup script so you don't have to retype the start command every time. e.g. a batch (*.bat) file for startup if you're using windows or a shell (*.sh) script if you're using *nix or osx.
If you need further explanation, let me know and I'd be happy to go into more detail.

what i am interested is that i can have the server up without even turning on my computer, so others can connect to it even if i am offline, i am interested in how do i make an application run on a web server? I guess i have those application, i am just stuck in geeting them running on a web server, and what happens in this case if I type /stop into the console? and how do I restart it if I stopped it?.

It seems like you're asking for some sort of control panel. There IS a free version of Multicraft although it will broadcast every couple minutes or something. You can however buy a 2 server license for about $9.28 (one time). Although, a much better alternative to using a control panel would to just simply run it on your web server. If you're running Linux on your web server (for sure on debian based systems) you'll be able to use "screen" which allows you to run virtual terminal sessions even while you're logged off. As for running a server on an offline computer, that will never work :). Whatever machine you use MUST be on for your minecraft server to be on. If you don't have that kind of hardware available, check out renting from a hosting company, like mine. https://advantageservers.com.
oic so there has to be a hardware running for the server to be up... i will see if i have access to one..

Virtual servers are servers run within servers. In it's simple form, you've got your physical hardware. Then on that hardware there's software running that controls multiple different virtual machines, gives them their own IP address and the whole works. Here's a diagram to help.
