We actually didn't go with rubies and changed to emeralds at last minute for the villager trading because I'm colour blind and couldn't easily spot the difference between the ruby ore and redstone ore until I was up close. Those last images are just torture
Dude, you're colorblind? I learn a new thing everyday...

you ever wanted to kill horses with a spoon? i got a guy who can do that
All of these look relatively fake, sorry to say. Unless you have proof that we can access ourselves of these so-called newfound blocks, noone should believe this. A simple re-texture can make any of these.
Perhaps, because they are fake?

i5 4670k @ 4.9GHz - Stock Heatsink - The rest is melted silicon but I think I have a graphics card in there somewhere It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.
Can you post what uses these would have? Curious as to whether or not it has any.
+ Lights that turn on when it gets too dark
+ Gates that automatically open when it's day and peaceful, close when it's night
+ A calender that can track the days
+ Because of the precision of the day-night cycle, you can make an artificial clock that doesn't fall out of sync
+ In adventure maps, you can make something activate, or be accessible, only during the day or night
I'm no redstone expert, despite my familiarity with it. You can and should expect a lot of creative uses to come from this block.

I was unaware that the block powered redstone I thought that redstone powered it and in a sense turned on the machine.
In retrospect your predictions were actually quite accurate.

"Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win with the Pokémon they love best."
You should watch our redstone panel for more details, but basically; The BUD is a bug, a nice bug (usually) but still a bug none the less. We *may* *accidentally* break it because we're fixing other bugs and they may impact this bug, but if that happens we'll find a way to reintroduce it (such as a BUD block)
Go on and break that bug. Please.

How would it be useful? Its not hard to tell if its day or night.
Exactly. And then you can always look outside your door or go outside.
Its the allocator I belive.
It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.
*facepalm*
How about synced devices or machines that activate when it turns night or day?

That is very rude, just because this is not what you wanted or expected doesn't mean its spam.

Like the night day sensor. Could be used for stairs that move away at night on a elevated house
Thankyou (:
