hrrm..wasn't it already said by several mods/admin that they are updating the server in the near future?(on a few different threads) telling them what issues the current one has and how to possibly fix it is a moot point... just sayin

I don't know if this is relevant or not, but every time I post on a topic it automatically subscribes to it and it's really annoying because my e-mail is getting major spam from this. I hit unsubscribe either on the topic or on the e-mail but next time I post I'm subscribed again. This is especially annoying when subscribed to the Mo Creatures thread...

Scroll down to the bottom of the page. See that button on the left that says "Bookmark thread"? If you click that, then the thread will appear in your User Control Panel under "Manage bookmarks" so you can follow it. Just don't try it with this thread, Announcement threads don't seem to work.

That should stop auto-subscribing you to threads you post in. Though of course you can still subscribe to any you wish.

It's hard to be active here when I normally use "View Your posts" every time I come to the forums, now when I want to see if people replied I have to think about what the topics where in what forum, navigate through the pages to them, then see if there are any new posts. Very annoying, can't wait until it's fixed.
...Although, the image whitelist still hasn't been removed (Last time I checked). Why should we expect search to come back, let alone anytime soon?
The least they could of done is change the message to something like the search is off right due to technical problems ... -don't worry we didn't ban your sorry ass

I do web development/programming professionally, and well... there is no reason for the search feature to be broken for so long unless there is simply just no one to solve the issue.
In which case, I'd be glad to volunteer to fix the issue for you... I work with PHP, javascript, SQL, etc. every day.
Maybe I'm stepping out of place to say this... but seriously, there is no reason for the search feature to be disabled for this long. I'm sure it is forcing people to leave and find other places to hang out for minecraft info... and obviously you've all noticed the modding is already slowly moving to mcmodcenter.net.
If this forum can't maintain itself, there won't be anyone left here to use it...
