I have many ideas for this game. I dont know where to place them so I figured this is the place :happy.gif:; anyway here they are.
1. Rope- Sometimes there is a huge ledge that you dont just want to jump off and cant get back up. So use the rope to slowly climb down. I figured 3 string going down makes 1 rope and 1 rope covers 5 blocks and when going down a huge ledge rope is consumed automatically. Reason why I suggest this is because ladders are hard to place going down.
2. Rope Arrow- Sometimes you want to go high on to a ledge and you cant place ladders since it stops if theres a block above you to stop your progress. So you use rope arrows to send a rope flying to the point of impact. Rope arrows can be made by arrow and rope under the arrow. Like rope the rope is used automatically and the number of consumption depends on how high the arrow goes.
3. Heaven or the Vally- Like the nether but its...nicer very much so. You start by taking 14 Gold Blocks and make a gate out of them and use flint and steel to start the portal. The the vally would be tons of water and cloud blocks, sun blocks, angels, wind blocks, etc etc. Perhaps make it more rewarding since making a valley gate is so much harder than making a nether gate.
4. Have some tree produce apples- The only way you can get apples is by dungeon chests, and those are super rare to come by, and since they only heal two hearts, not a lot of pay out.
5. Sulfur deposit blocks- Getting sulfur for some is hard enough, and impossible on peaceful. So why not, near lava pits there's a few Sulfur deposit blocks to make getting sulfur easier?
6. Do something for the slimeball or get rid of it- lets face it, right now slimeballs are useless since they are not used in any crafting or serve any real purpose.
7. Make different weapons and arrows- Since there many types of swords, I figure why not have different types of weapons and arrows. [In Ex. Diamond arrow] that way everyone can have a little more customization.

- Has news about high quality/upcoming/interesting mods
- Has some news/gossip from Notch's Twitter (since, really, who actually visits twitter other than to post narcassistic crap?)
Essentially, as long as it's not going to become a drain on the forums, and has news that is more about the community releases and large MC releases it'll be useful.

I agree. A re-hash of Notch's blog would be fail, because almost everyone reads it, or so I think. The die-hards do anyway. Posts about new feature that WOULD be made in to the next version would be great, along with pics of new artwork, so that the texture pack guys have a chance to keep up.
I think that there should be more kinds of bows replacing the wood sticks with stone, iron, diamond ect. This would make it better by needing a chicken farm for feathers with the eggs they drop and the need for arrows more. It would help against some mob packs that have stronger mobs. It also takes away frustration by not sing too many arrows at higher bows making life in minecraft easier! Please take this into consideration

That sound like a good idea,but i think When the game updates there should be a message that tell you what it is fixing/adding into the game.
For example new blocks, bugs you have fixed, etc.
