This has been actually something that the moderators have been having in the back of their minds for a while, and it's something that hasn't been actually addressed until the beginning of this month, where it was decided that we should move to phpbb, as it offers a variety of tools that we need (for the mods it's a better warning system, for the users it's PM's and whatever else). This is something that is constantly being worked on, and we expect to be done and ready to move at most in 1 month (there is no exact move date yet).
Remember that Doppelganger Forum warning thread I did? Yes, that is the link for the new forum and once it's done, we'll move it to the current link. There will be 1 specific day, the day before the forum move, where the forums will be closed so that Aera can transfer all the information from this forum to the new one. The forum is currently locked, though, and will be opened later on (but will be set so that none of you can register/post on it).
The skin template that I'm modifying is this one, the link to where the skin is being edited is still under wraps. Compliments to Zuriki for hosting a site for me where I can see the edits seperately from the actual forum.
Before you get all OH GOD MY PRECIOUS POSTSSSSS you need to know that all posts, threads, and everything else will be moved by Aera through his voodoo magic that he possesses. The most you can expect from the forum move is a password reset, which Aera is resolving as we speak.
We'd love to hear your input about this, and your opinions.

Later, we should let Dock make/design/whatever a skin, I think, because it will fit with everything else he'll have done in the MC site. Probably.

I figured that covers everything else I can ask. ^-^ And I'm also guessing the answer to both will be "There's nothing wrong with these forums, the new ones are just shinier!" or something along those lines.. But hey. :happy.gif: It never hurt to ask..
If you don't mind my commenting here, I've always preffered SMF to phpBB; while the latter serves it's purpose well enough, SMF is just more customisable, et cetera.
