Version of MineCraft: 1.8 Official Release and Pre-Release Beta's Both Versions
SSP or SMP: Both
Your Computer Specs and Operating System: Memory: 2 GB , Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo , Mac OS X Version 10.5.8
Can you repeat this bug: Yes
What issues does the bug Cause: When trying to start a new map or accessing a older one the game will say "saving chunks" go to a black screen about 10 seconds goes by then a error report that flashes very fast but informs me that the game has crashed this happens every single time I try
Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable: It seems all other MAC users are experiencing this as well
I have this exact same problem. I have the exact same Computer Specs and Operating System except I have 4 GB memory. I have Java version 1.5.0_30.
This happens anytime I attempt to start a new world, load any old save, or connect to any server. It occurs as it says "Terrain Generating' and then 'Saving Chunks' and then I get the black screen. I was able to get the following screenshot of the error report (which flashes by very quickly):
i placed a torch underwater and when it was destroyed, the lighting from the torch stayed there. DO NOT know if this effects other light emitting blocks.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Let us pray. Bless us, O Notch, and these, thy Updates, which we are about to receive for thy Game. Through Jeb, our Dev. Amen.
Computer Specs: windows 7 64bit, 64bit java with 2k memory alloted, i5 2.30ghz processor, 1024mb nvidia GPU, 4gb RAM
Bug: Saving in the nether, closing the game then reloading causes the game to run out of memory and when it finally reloads the game, you begin on the surface with all your precious items gone
Can you repeat this bug: Probably yes, sorry but I'm too damn scared of losing my save (I'm doing an LP series on it) to try
Priority: Medium, cuz it disables long trips and base buildings in the nether for some people
I just found this bug, if it is a bug, not too long ago, it deals with the Endermen moving man-made blocks. (I think).
I was on peaceful difficulty trying to finish a structure I had been working on since 1.7.3, only to find that blocks were still being taken out of their original place and being placed elsewhere. Once I placed them back and was heading for the exit I turned back around to find different blocks out of place once again.
Please reply if you've experienced something similar.
Version of Minecraft: 1.8 SSP or SMP: SSP Your Computer Specs and Operating System: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black, AMD Radeon HD 6800, Windows 7 Can you repeat this bug: Yup. What issues does the bug Cause: None, Minecraft is still fully functional. Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable: All pink sheep.
There seems to be an issue with the backs of pink sheep not being the correct color.
The following is more of a bad design choice than a bug. On multiplayer.
Underwater damage "impairment" seems to have been increased massively. I run out of air, and even though I was only 2-3 blocks under the surface I could not make it up with a full bar. My movement was so impaired that I could not swim up even that short of a distance.
This makes any underwater work or mining now pointless, since it is inevitable that every now and then you'll run out of air.
If this doesn't get somehow fixed I predict that the scuba mod will become very popular.
I cannot live without a toggle fog key and there isn't one. My game lags if I don't change the render distance every couple minutes and it is quite a pain to have to open up my menu every time i want to stop the lag.
Version of MC: 1.8
SSP, maybe SMP (Haven't been on an 1.8 SMP yet.)
Specs I don't know but I'm on Windows 7 Professional, 1G RAM, 32 Bit System, 2 GHz Processor
Repeat? Yes I can but it takes a bit to get it to show up.
Does not really cause any issues, but it chews up FPS and its quite annoying.

Your Computer Specs and Operating System:
Windows 7 64 Bit, Intel Core I5 2.3 gHz, 6GB DDR3, Laptop
Can you repeat this bug:
Yes. Occurs every time I play.
What issues does the bug Cause:
Nearly crashes the entire computer.
Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable:
CPU spikes to 100%, sound fails, entire computer lags. Stops after about 2 minutes, then reoccurs later.
Your Computer Specs and Operating System: Windows Vista, AMD Phenom X4 955 Processor 3.21 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 64bit
Can you repeat this bug: Yes
What issues does the bug Cause: When Someone dies with a lot of experience orbs, it causes the extreme lag in the server, sometimes even crashing it if they had enough orbs.
Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable: Anywhere
Solution: Picking up the orbs, if possible. Usually it is too laggy to do so.
Found a bug in multiplayer, not sure if it does it in single but if you shift click items into a full chest the game crashes. Found by accident :sad.gif:
i do not know if it is a bug, but if you set a painting on the top layer under the roof, if seems black
I also get this one, they appear completely black, even when they are very large and cover more then just the space next to a ceiling.
Specs and OS: AMD Phenom II X2 555 processor 3.2 Ghz 4 GB Ram, 64 bit Windows (but I have experienced this on my quad core as well, don't remember the spexs off hand) Game Version: single player 1.8 creative mode. Can I repeat these bugs? Yes! Over and over.
Also, My game closes itself due to a Memory issue rather often. Its probably every couple minutes and just started when I started messing with the NPC village I found. I am using mod loader (for 1.8) as well as the mod "shelves" which is another rizugami mod. But I do still get all of these bugs with or without mods.

Other colored sheep are unaffected.
Im having this same problem. It seems that if you walk away from a cooking furnace and it runs out of fuel, everything in that furnace disappears.

1Gb is very little. I usually allocate 1GB to minecraft itself. You should try to upgrade to 4Gb.
