I have been reading people's opinions on the Endermen since Notch announced that he would nerf their block moving ability. Those that complain can't seem to grasp how many ways there are to handle them already. If they are taking stuff from your house, how are they even getting close to it? Build a moat to kill them in water. Light up the immediate area so they don't spawn nearby. Build thick perimeter walls that you can easily repair when you are up to it. Endermen aren't precise, they don't have a plan. They just like to move stuff.
You sure didn't read alot of opinions then, I'll as you the usual questions: How do you protect your entire landscape? How is their ability challenging, or scary (since they are supposed to be), what do you think about blocks being destroyed when they despawn? They aren't prescise and thats the problem, they "build" flying trees without any correlation with your actions ingame.
To use your words: you "can't seem to grasp" the problem as a whole.
For as much as I saw the pro-endermen-griefing people calling the anti-endermen-griefing people "whiners", since the announced nerf, I've seen far more posts from the former that sound A LOT more like "whining" than I ever did from the latter.
