I shouldn't have to buy a new computer everytime my old one becomes outdated. Just because no other PC game that came out in 2010 will run on my equipment doesn't mean that I expect you to be restrained by reality.
Maybe I wouldn't mind so much if you had at least [insert something that didn't change]. The community has been asking for this for months! Why do you even have beta testers if you don't give them complete creative control over your program?
Also, when does 1.83 come out? 1.82 has already been out for [insert time <8 hours] and we still haven't gotten an expected release date for the next patch.
too much wining about 1.8 on the forums its a beta game and at least we have the right to mod the game however we want, which other game devs do not do.[insert face palm here]

As it stands now, I can only use it as a media center for recording and playing back full HD video, music, etc.
Luckily, my wife has a 2 year old computer which will at least play some new games.

From seeing that, and comparing it to the content of my post, you could then infer that I actually had read the OP and understood his message perfectly, and was posting my agreement. A new computer able to run almost any new game runs about 500$ WITH a monitor, keyboard and mouse. If you can't save that over 5 years then you have major problems already. Maybe you should lay off the computer games and work an extra hour or two a week or find a better job.
