To reply to previous, actually some of those odd things may be a result of the common terrain generative things. 4-block tall cactuses were sometimes seen in 1.7, so I wouldn't be surprised with the decreased rarity of sugar canes that those may also have a similar terrain generation. In short, terrain generation can be odd, but I like the little oddities that make a world really unique.
I haven't found pumpkins or melons yet, but this and the ordeal with the paintings is all still vital for Mojang to solve.
You might want to add that dropping items can cause the image of the item to linger around but you have the item back in your inventory.
This only happened when I died, not sure for other cases.
The exact same thing happened to me with some dirt or planks block. I wasn't sure if I actually picked it up and I was like: "OMG WHY CAN'T I PICK IT UP?! BLOCK OF DOOM! :angry.gif: "
It's pretty confusing if there's still the image on screen, it had me fooled.
I'm really kinda disgusted with this "bugs already found" stuff. It's like you NEED to come on here and riot about bugs being discovered. Can you please stop disgusting me? Thanks.
Also, what is 1.8.2? We havn't even had 1.8..

Dear Stokkeren, please allow me to explain the usefulness of complaining about bugs.
Bugs are, in essence, bad things. We are discussing the awkward results of some in-game occurrences for the sake of having them dealt with. We do need to come on here to riot, in your personal disgust per opinion, in order to improve the game's quality. If you'd like to stop being disgusted, you might want to try not being involved in bug-tracking of games in development. If not, feel free to stay and follow every forum thread about tracking the bugs of the pre-releases of 1.8, because I am not sorry for anything I'm doing here and actually I look forward to more of your disgust.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but Endermen have been spawning in totally lit areas. I made a thread about it that was ignored. @~@;; Has anybody else been having this happen to them?

This is what happens when you put bonemeal on melon or pumpkin seeds.
