to place blocks in the prerelease you have to constantly rightclick everything... what happened to just holding it and walking backwards to make a wall?
I like to think that whenever you beat an AI in any videogame, it gets sent to whatever equivalent of Hell computers have. I can only presume that this would be Aperture Laboratories from Portal. May GLaDOS have mercy on them.
Ya, I noticed also that you can't hold down the button for the sword anymore. Not a big problem, but having to left click constantly to fight wares on you after awhile.
I'm not sure how many people get this, but when I click my mouse, it will occasionally place two or three blocks instead of one. It's related to poor performance; it happens a lot more at dawn or dusk, on multiplayer, or at larger render distances. I can see how this would fix that. However, I think this is a ****ing lazy fix. Wouldn't it be better to find a way to make it properly recognize how long you've had the mouse down for? **** like this, exploding beds in the Nether, and the removal of the fog toggle are making me disrespect Mojang's collective coding ability.
I disagree. All the saved resources (bookshelves, cobblestone from stairs,...) and time that you'll save because accidental double placing is gone is 3x more worthwhile than being able to hold down right click to continually place blocks.
Notch removed a couple of little things that made everything easier.
Stop being lazy xD
