Recently I was working on an adventure map and decided to plop down some villagers to liven up the town I'd created. A half hour later I came back to discover they were opening iron doors which couldn't be opened, closing iron doors which needed to stay open, and one of them had chosen the building full of explosives as his new home.

Well, after enjoying Minecraft for a long time I finally broke down and contributed back: exactly one adventure map. TRY IT NOW! YAY! Fall of Kingdoms
Unless they get bored, which means it'll get fixed never. Still a lot of bugs that they haven't bothered addressing. Why can't I get to my Inventory in creative mode again?

...Because you have a fancy infinite inventory?

The Internet is a big place, friend. I've been places you've n͍̺e̩v̦e̦̰͍͓̩ͅr̜̭̝̬̬͉̤̬ ͙ịm̖͇a͍͇̤͙̥g̤̘i͔͖̤̼̪̬n͖͔̳̬̯e̩̘ḓ͈͔̠̙͇̼̯.͎
The problem is when you're utilizing things that AREN'T in the creative inventory, or things you've picked up that you'd like to dump back into the ether. You're limited to those 8 tool slots, when you have a full 24 slots masked behind there. You can see it when you're in a chest, or crafting box, or anything else that happens to open your true inventory interface. Why not in the normal creative inventory too?

Agreed. Since the traditional inventory still exists and gets used in creative, it should be visible.
And also, about the villagers...it's already been said, but...it'll be fixed, just be patient. Doors are going to be changing soon, so they'll probably get messed up again anyway.

That villager sounds like a pretty cool dude to me.

If anything it seems like an oversight or mistake more than a traditional "bug".

Testificates are descended from Jellyfish!
They generate electricity with their bare hands! This adequately explains why they open iron doors by just touching them!
....But seriously, it's probably a bug.
