Gosh, as youve said it mcnostalgia doesnt give the same feeling. Do you know why? Its not the new updates which has killed exitment in minecraft, its just because you've seen it all. I remember as i started in the first version of alpha, how everything was so exiting, new, i was full of ideas. That time just went, now i've built huge redstonecontraprations, made huge cities, kept up server for over 1 year and made everything i could ever imagine. I dont think childish that updates killed the game, it was just that as good as it was, it couldn't last forever.

Minecraft uses addiction
Steve does... Well he doesnt do anything anymore...
Minecraft was bright and colorful. no texture pack will make it the same.
I have to disagree with you there. There are several texture packs that restore the older, more colorful textures to the game, and you can always make your own textures. That's pretty easy to do. I agree with your sentiment, however. If a game doesn't feel right, its not much fun to play. I'm glad we can mod this game and use texture packs to give the feel that's right for us. Everyone has different tastes. Some players like the world to be almost monotone, some like dark and mysterious, some like gloomy, some like flashy or gaudy, and some like colorful. I like Minecraft with happier greens and browner dirt. I don't like missing diamonds when I am mining, so I make them pretty flashy. Same with coal and iron. I get tired of redstone being so common, and I don't use a lot of it, so I usually make it blend in with regular stone.
Come to think of it, I don't think I'd still be playing the game if it wasn't for being able to 'fix' the textures the way we want them. :smile.gif:
****ing crybabies.. every day making these same whiny complaints over and over.
As if anyone here gives a damn that you are unhappy with the changes. Any of you crybabies.
The fact is there are millions of satisfied customers. And none of them care about your disapproval and disappointment.
When I am unhappy with something, I move on with my life. I don't sit and cry about it like a 2 year old. Thinking it's going to make a difference.. I mean, you don't really think you are making a difference, do you? You don't think the game is magically going to revert.. do you?
